i always wonder what glass is protecting the camera lens?
do they put gorilla glass victus on the camera lens if you have it on the front?
5MP macro is very useful for reading microscopic product labels
please dont give Xiaomi the wrong idea to remove it, so far they are the only ones providing a decent camera setup for people with poor vision
if you dont want it just buy other brands
this girl is silly
i rather Xiaomi remove that useless garbage ultrawide entirely, nobody use that shit at all, main camera already does all the job
and replace it with more practical camera setup like main+telephoto+macro
macro is tons more practical and useful like for example i just took a clear shot of my product serial number awhile ago to claim warranty which otherwise couldnt even take a clear shot with a 108mp main after crop its still blurry, its also especially useful for snapping documents and for aiding people with poor vision on microscopic fonts
telephoto is ofcourse for viewing far distance clearly, plenty useful too in saving you the trouble to walk upclose or cant proceed
i never get the appeal of ultrawide unless if you are an instagram btch, but people use selfie mostly anyway
go get an iphone or something if you like ultrawide that much, Xiaomi is the only company offering good macro for cheap dont ruin it for other people that need it please ffs!
Great review. Only other thing I would add is that if you care about system updates and security patches Xiaomi are appalling (Global updates) and they are far and few between with no consistency. When there is an update it is minimal with largely only security patch. This goes for flagships, midrange and the lower range devices.
The only drawback is the punch hole display.
is anyone having wifi issues, thinking of buying it in a few days
I am traveling in South East Asia and decided for the first time to see how budget smartphones are. I think most of the lower priced phones are Chinese brands. Since I live in the US am not too familiar with the Chinese brands or they aren’t as conveniently available for purchase. The only concern is the longevity of these phones. Especially if you plan on hanging onto them for a few years. With Samsung now offering four full years of major OS update and maybe an additional year of security patches. If you add in the cost of buggy software or lack of OS or security updates, is it worth it? I heard that some OS updates for Xiaomi end up bricking the phones or maybe the phone only gets two years of support. So if you have to upgrade your phone every two years then wouldn’t Samsung or Google smartphone be a better value
Been using this phone for 10 months now. The wifi toggle suddenly not working and I am not able to connect to Wifi. Factory reset also does not solve this problem. Stupid phone.Regret buying it
we’ll miss you☹️❤️
my mi11 phone motherboard damage…please help me.…fuck mi band.……
Got mi 11 5g 1 year ago. I has been repaired 4 times now, — I gave it back to the shop and bought another phone from another brand. I loved the phone when it was working, — but too many problems. Maybe I was just unlucky, the guy in the shop looked at me saying: “Well, what did you expect, it’s a Xiaomi”… strange comment, if you ask me 😉
Lovely phone, lovely review, lovely girl ✌🏿
Or ce ?
Price
I’ve been using it for a few months now. It’s amazing, I didn’t get any issues from the beginning.
Best phone I ever bought, especially for its price!
Is this still worth it in 2023?
Is the 120hz refresh rate adaptive ?
So from a Poco F2 Pro, which is fantastic by the way, will be a better choice MI 11, OnePlus 10T, or Realme GT 2 Pro? Thank you!
I miss Angie in GSMArena 😢
Miss you Andrew and your gsmarena videos
