16″ is the sweet spot.
Btw, I had a laptop keyboard with silver keys & gray letters & it was TERRIBLE for visibility! 😵
But they still did not change that brick tho ! So not much of an improvement
Do we need 240hz display? Nope, i just want ae to run smooth
Where’s ‘Legion 7’ ?
That giant legion logo looks ugly imo
Now that the trend is smaller is cooler, there’s no mention of 17 inch laptops. Next from CNET: these new laptops aren’t small enough — just use your phone.
Is there a really noticeable difference between 165Hz and 240Hz?
Isn’t that 240Hz overkill?
I fear the possibility that this new 165–240Hz variable refresh rate screen will cost more (most likely) than the fixed 165Hz one, with the possibility of having “teething problems” and not really being useful with 3070 Ti-like GPUs and current games.
Is it an unfounded or wrong fear?
I am so excited for new ultragear laptop.1ms,300hz nano ips with 3080max q.
I just want these to release ASAP. Holding off on getting a Legion 7i right now incase the price drops or the new Legion 5/Pro is decently priced.
Will they support windows hello?
that All in One Center is a really neccesary future that other gaming laptop/PC should integrated..
The white is beauty
Legion is the best bang for your buck right now
Will they be in white? Pro and non oro
Dude you should research better. Legion 5 and 5i top out at RTX 3070ti but at 125 Watts TGP.
Are the hinges improved on the legion 5?
I really dont see why 240hz even maters? Unless your going to play at the lowest settings possible in a game you wont ever see 240fps even with a 3080. I dont know about anyone else but i prefer to enjoy the games in maximum detail. So at max quality settings with a 3080 your looking at 100fps roughly. Plus you have to remember the human eye technically operates at roughly 60–75fps the only reason you may be able to perceive a faster frame rate is because the frames may land in-between your eyes own refresh rate. So if you double the maximum number of perceived frames 75x2 you get 150fps which is the maximum ever recorded that a human was capable of perceiving. So there you have it, science its such a glorious thing. So what we learned is anything past 150fps isnt necessary so a 165hz screen is more than enough all these 240hz, 300hz 360hz is all marketing to get you to go buy a new product that makes absolutely no difference.
does anyone know if the refreshed legion 5 will have a fingerprint scanner like the legion 7
Just got my legion 7 today and… oh
2560X1600
Any info of what the price is going to be ?
Razor software best
Whats the point of a 240hz laptop? 240hz is good for competitive, but you shouldnt play competitive on such a small display.
