Is it backwards compatible to psvr 1 titles?
Pretty annoying people complaining about ONE cable… Considering everything you are supposed to be getting with this headset… ONE cable is no problem for me, I didn’t even think the original psvr was THAT bad for cables tbh, once you set it up it was fine.… Some people just expect too much…
Thx.
If I find one cheap on eBay or open box maybe I’ll give it a go
300$ is the most I would pay so eBay here I come 😂
I prefer the headset look like a helmet
i also want Huawei Honor Magic V ❤️
i want PSVR 2. i need to fhuck girls in games alright sony
Well what will I do if I can’t buy a PS5 ? Are they continuously going to be out of stock for how long?
Wait so it should have built in cameras
Oculus quest 2 compresses the image of the game if running through usb c. That means ps vr 2 will have compression. Not that much data can transfer through usb c, so I’m pretty disappointed
LMAO, $600? Really u think they would charge that much for it? What are you smoking?
To make psvr2 successful right out the gate these are some of the things that needs to happen day one launch of psvr2.
1.Fallout4 in vr and fallout76vr
2. Call of dutyvr
3.updated skyrim vr with better resolution.
4.resident evil4vr with all the modes seeing mercenaries should be out for the quest2 by then.
5.gt7vr
6.all psvr1 games backward compatible with boost mode.
7. Exclusive full aaa vr games at launch and not a spin off of existing games.
8. Show some full vr games coming next year and not small experiences like the psvr1.
9. Last but not least the price should be price under 500 psvr2 needs to be atleast 399 for it to be successful like psvr1.
It’s not a little step it’s a 2x above in picture
Will be getting it for sure
Edit: that’s why I sold my psvr version 2
Still Square head for 2022 game? i know its in VR but the price… not sure this will be interessting enough to buy
That’s all great… but what about the games???
Rip
Interesting glasses 🥸
I love my vr headset for the PS4 , I haven’t been able to find a ps5 so I don’t mind waiting to get both. Exciting times!
Good VR games are more important than a standalone headset. We don’t need another device to play beat saber.
TETHER IS TERRIBLE IDEA…
USING QUEST 2 ON PCVR WIRELESS IS STILL THE BEST…
PSVR 2 NEEDS TO BE WIRELESS..
I would LOVE ghost of Tsushima vr!
The use of USB‑C could mean that they can powered by their smart phone? well it could be phone + battery combo. lol
I’ll get back into VR when they stop doing those stupid floating hands and give a full body/ full immersion experience.
Anyone who is fine with floating hands is keeping us from getting there.
5:50 I already have a ps5, but if I get a PSVR2 and play FNaF SB and FNaF HW on it, I feel like it’ll almost be as if I’m literally the night guard. I really love that.
And don’t forget Sony supposedly sold the original headset at a loss.
We’re experiencing poor video coverage. Please buy more 4G LTE data plans for faster internet speed.
2kx2k per eye = 2k lmao
I don’t think they’ll make the price outlandish. Even the ps5 actually doesn’t make them that much money, it’s the games where they earn their profits. That’s why they showcased Horizon as the primary VR title, because they need a game for the masses to want to play more than to sell them on the idea of VR
Everyone knows about VR. Everyone knows it’s expensive, but everyone also knows that most of the games available on VR are either JUST on VR without a connected universe, or are a VR extension of something else. Using blockbuster titles like Horizon (and I’m pretty sure Spiderman in the near future because literally no other game makes as much sense as a Spiderman VR) will bring HORDES of new fans looking to buy this.
Supply chain issues will be a whole other thing though. I really hope Sony sells the PSVR directly through Sony Direct and only to people who already have the PS5 (you can link the account or something) or at least sells a majority of pieces directly to control the scalping situation
Will the new headset be much friendlier to guys like me who wears glasses? I had a terrible experience with the PSVR as I can only see if I put the headset closest to my face but my eyelashes would smear the lens inside and then my eyes would water tremendously!
I wonder how the psvr2 will handle backwards compatibility with games that use the DualShock such as Astro Bot?
I’d love a standalone headset that can play PS1, 2 and Vita games, in realistic virtual gaming rooms like Spatial and Immersed apps on the Quest.
Looks like I’ve come full circle- I had the PSVR, traded it for the Quest, gave up on Oculus/ Facebook (now meta), and I just finished building a PC. I’m in the exact same situation as when I got the PSVR. Do I upgrade the PC or go for a PSVR2? Time will tell.
Coming in Early 2023
i feel like 700 but i got ps5 in september so i will prob get headset for my bday
So is it expected to come out this year?
Also i hope you can move around on the ps5 home screen and stuff like the quest 2
I just hope it’s backwards compatible with existing PSVR titles. I have 20+ VR titles. It would be nice to play them at the higher resolution the PS5/PSVR would provide.
No need worrying about a new VR headset that works with the PS5 when you still can’t even get a PS5. I’ll look for this in 2023 when maybe I’ll be able to get a PS5.
If this isn’t wireless in any way, I will not buy it.
Oled makes all the difference in the World glad they went with that.
