Got mine last month. I love it
The Switch will probably be here for another 5 years but I believe in 3 years we may see a next-gen successor, just that Nintendo probably won’t discontinued the Switch until after the successor took off.
I’m thinking Nintendo will do a repeat of the switch. With a bump upgrade in the graphics. I’m looking forward to see how the console would look.
As for the games I expect the same the typical releases like Mario/Zelda (at probably at the switch2 end life span.
Nintendo is notoriously backwards. I wonder what would be a gripe in the new system?
The sales are exploding, they cant keep up with demand now and probably would be impossible to bring out something new with the chip shortage. My guess is that they will keep milking this cash cow until the chip thing is sorted.
Is there going to be a switch 2 soon? Im wondering if i should buy one now or wait
The only objective flaw with the Switch are the joycons
One person can play the console while another can walk away with the switch and still play together just jump in
Great video my guy.
Nintendo switch need a upgrade. At least 1920x1080 for god sake…
At Least You Didn’t Say Switch Pro. I Am Sick Of YouTubers Saying This, Urgh! 🤦♂️
Well with the Steam Deck coming out soon, I really would like to see Nintendo‘s next console surpass that in hardware and software with true nex gen capabilities. Just wishful thinking 😏
Best way to improve graphics in a dramatic way and not affected by the chip shortage is a PC digital store front.
I just want 1080p at 30–60fps. Keep oled. Need smoothness of edges; games look choppy and tad bit grainy (especially ported games).
I hope it becomes better than PS5 and xbox and gets a lot of storage with more games and at a lesser price or price equal to xbox series s
With the release of the oled I don’t think anything new is in the near future.
OLED is definitely cool i definitely like Nintendo it’s timeless
Disagree with the controller it’s meant for portability I think they should go in the direction of AR
4 teraflops (docked) + DLSS = 1440p gaming?
Nintendo is cheap. They will not create anything that costs them too much to build, and they will never take a loss on hardware. So, I expect they are going to hold out until 2024 or so, when chip sizes, prices, and availability have reached a point they are happy with. I expect a 900p screen (or possibly 2 screens) and upscaled 4K output to tv. What they need to make sure of is full backward compatibility with existing switch games, possibly with automatic upscaling. The joycon concept is a brilliant one, I’d like to see further iterations of a similar design — analog buttons and triggers as well. They really should sell separate dpad joycons with full functionality as well. Oled will be the most likely screen of choice (mini led also possible), and I expect to see some HDR display abilities as well. Whatever the next chip design is, I really hope it has dedicated anti aliasing hardware (think Dreamcast). Nintendo would also be wise to use nvme storage that is user replaceable (same with battery). Most next gen games require the fast load times, and trying to run a system off micro sd cards will be pretty archaic.
There won’t be a switch 2. It’ll just be a “new” switch. Trying to brand it a sequel will “Wii U” it to death
can it just team up with stadia and get better graphics without any change of hardware? how many times I have to say it? it is obvious? duh?
I sold my switch because I couldn’t Play zelda oot
I want DLSS support, at least 3 TFLOP-performance docked, it doesn’t need the removable joy-cons just focus on the power, thermals and ergonomics.
They can still sell the joy-cons seperately for certain games.
👉 It’s still a Switch because you can still use it at home or on the go. 👈
128gb SSD storage is a must and remove the SD-slot to standardize loading-speeds faster.
Finally, keep making the system out of the same-plastic but give it a better grip.
It doesn’t need to be OLED in the first-model, save that for a premium-model for later.
Price should be $400. Inflation is real.
Id really like to see different joycons and a different dock.
My guess is it’ll be out by Christmas! I just went with an Oculus Quest 2
Nintendo being Nintendo, I think we’ll have to wait for another 5 years for Switch 2 to come out. Since they kept on releasing games on the Switch, As long as people buy their new games and it is still feeding them a good amount of money, they will never jump to Switch 2 or pro.
When Wii kinda slows down on sales, they announce Wii U which flopped even more. When 3DS is not selling well bc some games are starting to feel unplayable and starts losing its popularity, they created new 3DS and 2DS.
As long as people buy their stuffs, they will never jump to a new gen.
Make the Joystick better. I went through 4 of those.
How much does a NVIDIA Tegra T210 chip go for today on the market?
If Nintendo makes a more powerful switch I’d buy it.
I really hope its a gamecube moment. Imagine nintendo finally being up in specs with playstation and Xbox, would make porting games to the switch much easier.
