My father was a forward commander of the fourth artillery he survived George Patton’s assault on the Germans through the battle of the bulges and the assault on Germany he said yes blood and guts yes George Patton had guts and we had blood
11:35
In everything I’ve seen, this SPAA was usually called the “M16” not the “M45”. I could be completely wrong and it could really be called the “M45” but I wanted to point this out.
If I am wrong please let me know where you found the “M45” designation, I’d really like to explore more into the source. Thanks!
22:27 wtf!?
I feel that our armed forces today, as great as they are, could not take another general like George Patton. They did not give him the nick name of blood and guts for nothing it was a win and not retreat or nothing at all.
Are you sure that they didn’t come out waving rainbow flags
The world would be lost if sissy boys were there
Lil girls of antifa could be the front line lol
Let us thank God that general Milley wasn’t in charge
I wonder at what point hitler admitted to himself that his dream wouldn’t be coming true. I’m sure it was well before he took the cowardly way out.
Old blood and guts ,
YOU ARE THE MAN PATON
Sigh heil
What a difference between the WW2 generation and the one of today…
Does anyone think it strange that at 22:27 in the video the Germans capture a mime?
At 36:46 it says that on May 7th, 1945 Hitler committed suicide. He committed suicide on April 30th.
Uhmm , that was a peculiar death. Thank you so much General Patton. You personified a magnificent part of the American spirit.
Patton was right.
Baum’s raid wasn’t an intentional diversion by Patton? This type of movement has been known about since Roman times. Where you will send a smaller, but well armed force head long into the enemy to divert their attention away from your main task force.
GOAT legend iconic thank for service
I’ve seen a few different documentaries about Patton’s accident that lead to his death. In no other presentation do they mention a truck stalling ‚forcing the other truck to swerve around. They just said that the truck swerved into Patton’s path for no reason. raising the suspicion of the “accident” being a cover for an assassination.
I’ve watched many videos on Gen Patton the amazing man 2–3 times. In the end, Patton has proven he was a wiser and better man than Gen Eisenhower, not to take anything away from Ike’s accomplishment. I could only surmise, if Patton had his way, Normandy and other battles could have turned out differently and so would history. Victor Davis Hanson, a recent great wiseman and thinker changed his views toward Donald Trump before and a year after Trump became the President and compared him with Patton and Ajax says something about these three men and the thinking of the common men.
secet mission to crush the reich good show
May 7 is not when Hitler committed suicide. Adolf Hitler committed suicide via gunshot wound to the head on April 30, 1945. They got it wrong in this video, they said he killed himself on May 7, 1945 and he did not. Germany unconditionally surrendered on May 7, 1945. Then May 8, 1945 is celebrated and known as VE Day or Victory in Europe day.
George Patton was a very serious person.
Jesus Loves You
Patton was removed because he was a political threat. They feared he’d run for president. It was no accident
What Fred Cottriel doesn’t know or doesn’t mention is that those flags are not planted by the American Battle Monuments Commission, which is a branch of the Federal Government that is charged with maintaining overseas graveyards. Yes, our taxes pay for the maintenance of American graveyards in France, Belgium, and probably more locations that I am unaware of. The flags that Fred Cottriel mentions are placed there by Belgium citizens every year in thanks of their liberation. The “Remember Museum”, is the perfect example of how much the Belgian people respect the US for their freedom.
My husband was in Patton’s 3rd Army. Ben loved two things his jeep and General Patton.
1:59 Ceasar Conquered the huns lol Ceasar was dead before the huns were even a think
32:27 “We saw a wooden box. It may have been about 6 feet, maybe 5 feet by maybe 5 feet high with baby’s shoes. These are all dried out shoes, all thrown in this thing. And if that doesn’t get your— your—guts it’s—“ nothing will. 32:44
Does this mean that America is far worse because of it’s far worse slaughter of over 60 million babies, too young to have worn shoes, in abortuaries? If the country that spawned the homicidal Schutzstaffel was crushed, what will happen to us who have sown a much greater wind?
Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Hosea 8:7 KJV
For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.
march 8th 45
Somebody must have pointed out that the video gets Hitler’s suicide date wrong. It was April 30th of 1945, not May 7th as is indicated in the video around the 37 minute mark.
My uncle was with Patton from Africa to Cesily then to France.
According to my dad, a tank commander, the people who worked under him said “His guts, our blood.”
Watching this video reminds me of ww2 when AMERICA was fighting 2 fronts 1 in EUROPE and the other in the PACIFIC against the JAPANESE in the PACIFIC OCEAN but after GERMANY Los after the battle of midway AMERICAN subs went on the hunt then the ATOMIC BOMB and ww2 ended case closed
🇺🇸
Patton knew that the former USSR was dangerous and that we needed to go there
Dem species was dare inventen stuff.
Patton wanted to disclose alien technology. That’s why he was “taken out”
I’d never seen that portion of Patton’s speech.
There were murmerings of Patton running for president eventually. Mix that with his overtly wanting to go ahead and crush the soviets … suddenly he is in a car accident before even leaving europe.…
People do weird things in the name of power. Just look at the Clinton’s.
What about Zhukov 360?
I challenge the History Channel to explain where in the Jay Treaty America declared its neutrality
I just realized, the prison camp is stalag 13 😂
IDK why Neierstein is listed as the crossing point when it was in Oppenheim. My friend lives 10km south of Oppenheim in Osthofen and the crossing is obviously in Oppenheim.
Cesar didn’t fight the Huns 😂😂
Patton… As a man in 2023
I salute and thank you!
24:35 One of the most Bronx things I can imagine someone saying after being shot.….
I lived in Luxembourg for four years . I’ve visited his grave many times. All through Luxembourg are small 4 foot high markers, with the date that town was liberated by Patton. And in one town they still held a “Patton” festival every year, along with year round WW2 Museum.
We had a gentleman at our church who fought at the Bulge. He would come to church and welcome the folks on Sundays. Occasionally he would wear his uniform and boots. It was very inspirational. He has since passed away. Thank you to all who fought for our Freedom and to those who gave the Ultimate Sacrifice.
