Why should iOS users switch to Android 12?

What is this embar­rass­ment of a video? If you’re try­ing to con­vince peo­ple to switch from one plat­form to anoth­er by not only ref­er­enc­ing prob­a­bly the least impor­tant fea­tures (and some­times fea­tures that iOS has already had) but ALSO con­fus­ing stor­age with RAM.. Hon­est­ly I would­n’t be sur­prised if any­one over there even care about any of the mis­takes you guys do con­stant­ly, no one is going to switch to any­thing by watch­ing this point­less video of yours, I’ve seen so many of these “switch to Android now cause you can change the accent colour of your phone, just like you could on a Win­dows Phone back in 2012!” videos but this is hon­est­ly one of the worst. 
There was­n’t a sin­gle good rea­son in this video to con­vince some­one to switch and the last “rea­son” is that it’s easy to do? real­ly? is that the best you can come up with? No men­tion of device vari­ety cause Android users all want to turn Android devices into Apple by killing off every­thing that isn’t a Pix­el so we got­ta adver­tise the Pix­el, right guys? right? Man, I just love monopolies.

I love the “iOS has­n’t changed since it’s release in 2007” com­ment, by your log­ic you could lit­er­al­ly say the same thing about Android, “see, you get a launch­er and an app draw­er and a noti­fi­ca­tion bar that you can swipe down IT HASN’T CHANGED AT ALL SINCE 2009 GUYS!”, and no, copy­ing Win­dows Phone’s accent fea­ture isn’t a major change, espe­cial­ly when it took a decade to do so.

This man real­ly said iOS inter­face has not changed since the first iPhone, which didn’t have mul­ti­task­ing at all or even let you change the wallpaper :/

This video is just click­bait. Peo­ple can’t just swap phones to get android 12. Android 12 is only on spe­cif­ic devices. Devices that may not appear appeal­ing to those using iphone.

I once went from iOS to android. Didn’t like it and went quick­ly back to iOS. 

Now I am on both, iOS as my dai­ly dri­ver and I got a relative’s old android phone to devel­op and test android apps

This did noth­ing to con­vince me to switch to Android. 

I start­ed my smart phone game with a Sam­sung Note 3 many years ago. It was an amaz­ing phone at the time until it wasn’t. The sty­lus was prone to be lost, the mal­ware from 3rd par­ty apps hin­dered per­for­mance, and I didn’t feel the con­sis­ten­cy with my Sam­sung phone and win­dows lap­top as I do with my Apple devices today. 

But what lead me into iOS was its unbeat­able ecosys­tem, free iOS work suite, and the fact, that over time, iOS updates are com­ing to more and more “old­er” iter­a­tions of iPhone. With Android it’s just a mess with what phones sup­port what, who gets what updates, and so on. But that’s the good thing with android isn’t it? Your abil­i­ty to choose your brand. 

How­ev­er, iPhone is an easy to use, easy to nav­i­gate device that is fun to explore, and has first class sys­tems with a first class sup­port ser­vice. There’s no sec­ond-guess­ing or wait­ing for the broad­er com­mu­ni­ty to adopt new­er fea­tures. And now a days iPhones are tru­ly built to last for years. 

I’m run­ning an iPhone 12 mini which I bought just before the 13 came out last year. I have a 7 year old Mac­Book Pro that I bought new, and I have a few Home­Pod speak­ers and a pair of Air­Pods Max. Not to men­tion I have an Apple Watch Series 5. And every­thing seam­less­ly con­nects and talks to each oth­er with­out any runaround. Add in Apple CarPlay that I have in my Jet­ta and I’d say I’m sit­ting pret­ty comfortable.

Don’t know if you will still reply but you just con­vinced me to switch to android. Just ordered my Google pix­el. Once you go down this path there’s no turn­ing back
