I’m 10 minutes in & I am still waiting to see him put the exact same armor on! 👀
oh wow they use to run cross country like mile runs etc.. in chainmail… imo your workout was a little light.
omar do something on the nubians
Natty ooorrrr???
These videos are tremendous. The presenter keeps things lively and interesting
Love these shows
I wish this was an hour!!!! So interesting!!! I would love to see more tbh
“Religious overtones” lmao that’s putting it lightly
When you Plato that’s when steroids come in
This series is funny. He talks about how warriors used to workout in ancient times and then prescribes regular everyday exercises from a gym lol
I wonder if the history channel one w about Omar’s creatine addiction before hiring him
Wearing an armor in everyday life is like adding more gravity, this knights are more stronger than people today they are not comparable to body builders…knights are stronger due to wearing armor since childhood for the rest of their life…I remember A guerilla guy are so expert in shooting since childhood he already hold a gun…
Did anyone else see the cat?
Do one about georgian worriors
Look at the man at the very beginning jaw . Omgooodness.
Hello
The problem with the weighted pull-up was load balancing. The 60 to 65 pound armor was distributed evenly across the whole body. Not just tied to a single point.
How did I miss all these used to watched Omar back in the day. Binging all these eps!
I thought I’d see knights working out
I love how this show breaks down what it would have been like to actually be a warrior, the Hollywoodafication of warriors where they just get drunk and crazy is unrealistic it would take great discipline to be a great warrior
i think the issue is your just doing normal workouts that would get the same muscles as what people did in the past.. cant you see if the shape your in now can handle a work out of the past?
I kinda like this, but he’s using conventional exercises only. I wanna see some kettlebells, palov press, hammer swings on a tire, sand bag squats or at least goblet/bodyweight squats. Orrrrrr.…actually get some info about the exercises they actually used to do.
Swinging a weighted two hander in 60 lb plate armor is amazing exercise.
How about Templar training?
i love how omar nods ro eric like the concept of progressive overload is new to him xD
What did the squat small bolders?
This is the best idea for a series ever
but the pagan are coming back in XXI century , slowly but coming
Doth thou even lift brethren?
6:55 OMG CAT!! 😍
4:04 not bodybuilders, but strongman
This is not historical in so many ways, That’s like me saying the Templar went to your local gym. Most of the work out you’ve done or more 20th century then they really were any medieval style. Although there are some things that they did have back then there are a lot of things that they didn’t. I think about doing workouts for combat related purposes is to have more cardio. Nothing more muscle. The reason why I want more cardio is because it will help you with being able to sustain things longer. Wow muscles just gonna give you muscle. It really doesn’t do much other than really make you look good and pretty much give you some health benefits as well. Wow, cardio is actually made for combat reasons. You could ask any boxer this is the reason why Floyd Mayweather was such a good boxer, when he was really skinny. And while I bust people, for example there’s this MMA fighter who always is like I’m too big. The thing about saying that medieval nights and stuff did so many push-ups and stuff is just the equivalent of saying they were horrible warriors which a lot of people say. All I’m saying is beware of people who make top 10 W.’s like this, because almost all of them are not historically accurate.
I thing Knights wouldn’t have big mussels like gym guys to day. That makes yo slow and Hindes movement. They were Bild more athletic like MMA fighters or athletes.
Is there a Celts episode?
