Follow food author and culinary entrepreneur Adam Richman as he travels the country reliving his childhood and tasting some of the most iconic and forgotten foods of the 1980s. The 1980s was a decade when food was all about the flavor and this ten-episode series follows Richman as he digs into the most nostalgic and notorious foods of the decade to prove that flavors lost to the 80s are worth searching for and savoring. Do you remember when you first walked into a mall and smelled a Cinnabon cinnamon roll? Or perhaps Domino’s long-lost breakfast pizza was the key to your heart and your stomach? And did French fries really taste better in the 80s? In “Adam Eats the 80s” viewers will relive this tubular decade by joining Richman on a journey back to where these brands all began, learn about the amazing secrets never revealed, and watch as Richman tries versions of products that were never intended for the public.

Loooooved BLC when I was a kid. Thanks for doing a show on this. AWESOMENESS!!!!
The baseball team started by Kurt Russell’s dad started.….…the 80s had the best candy.….…related to “big league chew,” also out of Oregon we got Jerky Chew.……in a plastic snuff case and mint snuff which was basically just shredded up mint leaves.
I’ve never tried this gum [I’m 30 and still haven’t 😅]
That was my favorite! I can’t find it anymore
Grape Big League Chew literally makes my mouth salivate to this day.

Great video !
I worked with him years ago.
GLUTTON..
Heck I want some now !!!
I remember the day it came out in Imlay City, MI. I was 12 and brought a pouch to my little league baseball game.
Wow I can’t believe I forgot all about this gum. Hod brings back memories back in the 80’s playing little league baseball. God how time flys bye.!
This is a nice change from Bigfoot and UFO’S
Tobacco should be illegal.
Yeah man
Nobody ever believed me that Big League Chew was first made in my grandmothers kitchen. Finally have the proof. She loved getting to be a part of this.
The outro is so incredibly loud. It should be fixed, it nearly blasted my ear drums.
Hahaha I’m 39 years old and ill still grab a pouch of big league chew brings back such good memories
Im guessing they wont ever do a fruit stripe gum episode seeing as it would be longer that the flavor would last
The lady’s name being Candy Field is Iconic lol
Nice little show. Underrated a bit, like Toy Hunter was. I love the member berries
I love this show not sure why it gets so much hate maybe do something on the 90s next
I suppose a women with the name Candy really only has two realistic choices for a profession. The other being a stripper obviously. 😆
OOOH. I want to try the root beer flavor. A Dr pepper flavor.
Dude I’m 41 and still buy bags of this stuff whenever I see it. as a bubblegum, it truly is one of the best. Grape and sour apple are freaking delicious.…
A lot of cool stuff came out of Oregon in the 70s and 80s. Not just b.l. chew, but also jerky chew, and mint snuff.
Hook up that root beer flavor
I love big leauge chew, but I always have the urge to swallow it more than any other gum
I like he skimmed over who was the artist who designed the art.
The air is apparently extremely poison at their home but not at the stadium! How come?
Why is Big League Chew erasing Todd Field from its origin story? What are they trying to hide?
😛
As a kid in the ’80’s I chewed my share of BLC. Of course, I would almost always put too much in my mouth.
I wanna know if many pro baseball players adopted BLC, especially those trying to quit tobacco.
4:10 he looks like he’s absolutely hating it 😂
I picked up a pouch from fivebelow a while ago, didn’t get around to chewing it till now
Holy smokes,I understand why people love it now. Wonderful stuff,I especially love the blue razz flavor!
What they don’t tell you is the director of the recent Oscar Nominated film Tár was one of the creators of it.
I mean you could say it’s an alternative to chewing tobacco for mlb players now as is sunflower seeds
Every kid o the ball field had this in their back pocket
Chewing on some grape big league right now!
I remember that.
This is so cool. Hello from Brisbane, Australia I’m ordering some now from an online store that has four flavours US import. Never tried it before. That’s why I looked up this video. 😅 can’t wait. 😋
I chewed this when I was a kid. Just your classic bubble gum flavor but shredded.
It’s cheap and better than bubble yum or double bubble
