How come Solar pan­els did­nt Burn Out ???

I believe that one of Nos­tro­dameus’ pre­dic­tion is talk­ing about a mas­sive solar flare that is going to destroy man kind in the next few years and see­ing the cold spot we just had just con­firms that in my opin­ion but what if we turn off the grid before it hits for 24 hours or so and then turned it back on after maybe that would help the amount of destruc­tion on the grid?

It hap­pened in Octo­ber we still chill­ing XD

If the pow­er grid is down every­where, why would the nuclear pow­er plants be on-line? I would expect them to be shut down and safed quickly.

The prob­lem with com­ing back is that the jackals/murders etc that sur­vived prob­a­bly would not have enough sur­vival knowl­edge con­tin­ue after food and water ran out.

Even the uber rich with their mas­sive bunkers and food sup­plies would run out of food soon­er or lat­er — or the preda­tors would find and use mil­i­tary weapon­ry to blow their way into any bunkers that are located.

This would more than cov­er hydrother­mal explo­sions in the atmos­phere as well.

I absolute­ly love the bar­gain-base­ment CGI on these shows. Gives the shows such an adorable char­ac­ter. 17:15 glow­ing lights are a bea­con for any maraud­ing ban­dits that are going to just come and take their stuff. These sce­nar­ios exag­ger­ate the amount of ban­dit­ry that will take place. Even in failed states run by gangs most peo­ple are still engaged in small scale cap­i­tal­ism and not banditry.
