I heard about this in 1966 from a Read­er Digest sto­ry, and from a Book after high school.Been fol­low­ing since.Very interesting.Good luck.

I’ve watched every episode and I have no idea why. This is with­out ques­tion the most tedious, redun­dant dri­v­el to ever grace the small screen. The His­to­ry Chan­nel has extract­ed the only trea­sure on Oak Island.

I real­ly hope for the sake of all the mon­ey and time and effort that they have put into find­ing “what­ev­er trea­sure” that may be, that they find it. I have been watch­ing this show since the begin­ning. There was one episode where they sent a div­er down into the “can” to look at a “shim­mer­ing gold-like” object that was embed­ded in the wall. I remem­ber when he chis­eled it out the wall it sank before he could grab it. It float­ed down just like a coin would in water. It’s dis­ap­point­ing that he wasn’t able to grab it, because I real­ly believe that was a gold coin. Not say­ing they haven’t been look­ing at Samuel Ball. But I tru­ly believe he found some of the trea­sure and when word got around, the British came to “inves­ti­gate”. But that’s my theory.
