Was a late 80’s/ 90’s kid….Caballero was my fav.

My first skate­board was a 2 x 4 piece of wood with dent­ed met­al roller skate wheels. I think the wood was a lit­tle wider/longer. Man, the thing was rough and wob­bly but I LOVED IT — the man around the block gave it to me. He said he made it because we used to cut through the spaces between the hous­es to get to the next block, which they just paved — it had been cob­ble­stone. Super skates came out then. I might’ve been in the 4th grade but def had super skates in the 5th grade. So, we were on his block fly­ing down the block on the new tar. It was SUPER COOL of him to make it and give it to me!! There were no skate­boards then — 1966 — and I took this thing EVery where. We had a steep dri­ve­way and I could go down that dri­ve­way, veer left and go up the block on that skate­board. Man, if there were skate­boards in 1966 — for­get about it. I look at the skate­boards today with envy know­ing if I even put a foot up, I’d break a leg or worse a hip.
Any­one else have the first skate­boards ever made — a piece of wood with met­al roller skates wheels??

not even close what what this video is say­ing, they over pay­ing. Who believes any­thing what they have to say? Just check out ebay for your­self. This is rea­son why I lost respect for Amer­i­can Pick­ers, they lie.

there are so many of these posters, not hard to find them at all. there are hun­dreds of web­sites you can find, the same con­di­tion, prob better.
