WOW that’s a mission of a trip. 1940 Philadelphia USA
Ok this video was a bit missleading, it wasn’t completely the same team or the same ROV that came back in February/March to find it, but it was the same boat. It was a ROV from the swedish company SAAB that found Endurance and if you check out SAABs youtube page they show the ROV and the pictures of the ship.
Could have been clearer in the film.
A computer generated image? Was The water to deep to snap a photo?
Eureka ! It is ours again .
Does this show give anyone else chills? I literally get goosebumps everytime I hear about it
Morphius!
my man morpheus! ha ha!
When the legend beats fact: print the legend. It was a team effort and they could not have survived without Captain Frank Worsley, Shackleton’s captain. The boss admitted he had no idea about boats, and it was Worsley’s navigation and seamanship that ensured the team’s survival. Moreover, Shackleton was heroic and a fine leader, but not as smart as some say.
Waited 8 minutes to see a CGI of the ship instead of any real images. What a waste.
Did this guy forget he’s a good actor?
I teach English in China. When I get to writing essays, I ask the students to write about their hero. I get, Batman, Superman, Ultraman, and the such. I then give a lesson that includes, Gandhi, MLK, Einstein, DaVinci, Pasteur, Magellan and the like. But, I focus on Sir Ernest Shackleton. I consider his adventure the “greatest” feat of survival in history! In China “REAL” history isn’t considered as important in their education. What a pity. POW — MIA never forget

Next expedition is to find the missing UAV i guess, lol 😆
The Transformers movie franchise borrowed the Shackleton story to tastefully tell the Archibald Witwicky | Megatron Discovery story.
Mind blown. I Just realized that Morpheus looks exactly like Shackleton if he had lived longer and was African American.
what, all i get is a #$@$% render and not very good one?
I’m looking this episodes complete, anybody knows where can I found it? 😢
9.5 minutes of nonsense scripted drama and you don’t even show the wreckage? Lame.
So what became of the multimillion dollar AUV? I bet someone lost their job!
“Holy grail of this Holy grail of that” lol jooz.…😏
If you haven’t watched the movie, “THE ENDURANCE”, you’re missing out!!
FOR GOD’S SAKE DON’T ALLOW THIS SHIP TO LAY ON THE BOTTOM FOR ETERNITY AS TITANIC WILL DUE TO STUPIDITY. INSTEAD OF MILLIONS SEEING TITANIC IN A MUSEUM, IT WILL BECOME A PILE OF ORANGE RUST ON THE SEA FLOOR. DON’T DO THIS TO SHAKELTON’S SHIP…PLEASE!!!!
If you want to see Laurence twiddle his thumbs longer, Disney carries his History’s Greatest Mysteries show, which this crews previous negative search is covered, including a precise coverage of Shackleton’s expedition.
Shackelton was basically impossible and yet real
Read Shackleton’s account of the expedition in the book called ‘South!’.
It’ll blow your mind.
Shackleton would be pleased his ship was found. Endurance was crushed in the ice. It has been located. It’s 10,000 feet deep in the Weddell Sea. It’s well preserved.
In this entire 9min clip not once did you show a map to display the location of the wreck.… pathetic attention to detail.
Sigh.… so all we see is some CGI mock up, jesus what a waste of 9 minutes
I was the IT Satellite Operator who collected the Data from the Terra SAR and Tandem X Satellites to find that ship. Nice work from DLR Germany (German Space Agency). I am glad to see that the Ship was found .
Careful out there guys the Queen alien is down there!
We found it. No, really. We did. Look, here’s a computer generated picture as proof.
They ain’t fine nothing
My friend and I are Shackleton groupies. When we heard about the search for the Endurance, we decided we had to go to Antarctica. Eight months later we boarded a ship in Argentina and sailed south. The highlight of the trip was seeing South Georgia Island, visiting Shackleton’s grave, and walking the last mile from Shackleton Falls to Stromness.
It is still Lost.. They knew the Latitude and Longitude before they searched. Now they know the location by GPS to even greater accuracy… But, it is still Lost, and will never be sailed again.
