Follow food author and culinary entrepreneur Adam Richman as he travels the country reliving his childhood and tasting some of the most iconic and forgotten foods of the 1980s. Do you remember when you first walked into a mall and smelled a Cinnabon cinnamon roll? Or perhaps Domino’s long-lost breakfast pizza was the key to your heart and your stomach? And did French fries really taste better in the 80s? In “Adam Eats the 80s” viewers will relive this tubular decade by joining Richman on a journey back to where these brands all began, learn about the amazing secrets never revealed, and watch as Richman tries versions of products that were never intended for the public.

I still talk about the Calizza. loved loved loved them! Mom worked there and then I started in high skewl at 16 in ’89 after they were gone. 🙁
Sorry. Couldn’t watch. Sheep don’t eat pizza.
Pizza Hut pizza was soooo good in the 1980’s … but in the 2000’s .. Not So Much )-; . At all . The buildings are dirty and run down . The crust are tasteless ..
I found the original recipe for the pizza crust (-; !!!! I make my own at home .. it’s the real pizza from the 1980’s that I remember…
I don’t know why, and I experienced this in two different states, but the crust with the pan pizzas are no longer crispy, they’re soggy, and I have heard others in numerous other states all through the US, and provinces in Canada, all say the same thing, Pizza Hut pan pizzas are no longer what they used to be.
Love this series 🙏🏻
I worked there when they first got wing fryers and dropped the proofed personal pan doughs in to make donuts. Really good when topped with cinnistix cinnamon/ sugar.
Metal Slug arcade machine in the corner. Next to a candy claw.
Great pizza 🍕 history.
Thank you for sharing.
Those are cool Marty McFly glasses thanks for sharing.
Pizza Hut is garbage now.
Who remembers the red cups?
Pizza hut is so overpriced now. its like 24$ for large. lil ceaser its 6$ like tf
Working in wholesale produce in the ’80s, I was often in the kitchens of Pizza Huts. One way they quick served the pan pizzas– they were made before hand and kept warm till ordered. There were would stacks of them in the back waiting for customers. I managed to snag a few from time those that weren’t sold and going to be tossed out.
Cheat meal, cheese pan pizza from the HUT every friday in Qatar. And I still lost 90 lbs that summer lol. the best!!
That Calizza reminds me of the PZone.

Series should be called, listen to Adam mumble under a mask
Lol. Omg. The masks are a bit much. The interview looks like he’s wearing a burlap sac on his face.
The lunch buffet was the best deal I remember going to pizza hut when school was a half day and about 10 of us would run to pizza hut for lunch
Trash show
The mask ruins the show! What a stupid thing
I absolutely still have those sunglasses from Pizza Hut!
Pizza Hut Was Created By Two Brothers Dan And Frank Carney
What is the smell so good🤤
Masks? Lone Rangers? Okay then! LoL.
HISTORY MADE THIS!?!?!? 😮
Pizza Hut has seen better days.
If Pizza Hut made everything how they used to in the 80’s I’d actually order from them for once. Right now it’s so bad I honestly don’t know how they make any money
Great! When I was a kid. They called them “5 minute pizzas” and if they took longer than 5 mins. You’d get them for free.
I remember when they first came out with pan pizza and it was close to a deep dish pizza with loads of cheese and sauce, then over the years it just seemed to transform in to a regular thick crust pizza.
I remember when personal pan pizzas came out. I love a deep dish pan pizza. But I don’t buy them because I’m too fat. Shadow actually weighs 43 pounds. But i tried those Red Baron 2 pak personal pan pizza’s. And they’re not pizza hut but they’re ok. Especially for the price. Just put in a supreme. I always get supreme unless they have spinach chicken Alfredo.
