“I Was There,” offers an immersive trip back in time, placing host Theo Wilson-the grandson of a Tuskegee Airman with a passion for history-at the center of some of the world’s most impactful events, to deconstruct how they truly unfolded. Through original archival material, expert testimony and dramatic re-creations using CGI technology to place Wilson in the scene, the series features surprising perspectives on some of the most pivotal moments in history. Wilson is a fly on the wall as he breaks down the barrier between the audience and the action to revisit a series of critical historical events, disasters, triumphs and true stories to learn unexpected facts in an engaging, fast-moving, and often unpredictable way.

And I guess you could count Sir Jeffery Amherst’s passing out of small pox infested blankets that wiped out the Iroquoian nations earlier than Jackson’s butchery. Elizabeth Bathory even earlier of the torture and brutal murders. History needs to brush up on it’s history, unless it is willfully attempting to bury history.
And to think theres a theory he escaped hanging and is possibly Jack the Ripper
“first” lol
I guarantee, he was not America’s first.
In a strange sense. Some debt is owed to his faulty plan for $10,000.
It was what got him caught. 🧿
What he was. Was the killer who woke America up, to serial killers.
In that strange way. His darkness helped those of the light. Discover and uncover future killers.
Strange how negatives, turn to positives. Often, in the most unexpected ways.
🧿🕊️🧿
All the pictures they have of him. Many you see, just colorized, the same picture, differently. It strikes me, the guy looks like a real mouth breather. 🧿

Unfortunately this is just another retelling of the same misinformation about H.H.Holmes that has been reported over and over again.

Evil Genius?
Why would you put Seltzer on this show? He has stated many times he doesn’t believe Holmes was a killer and he also stated he doesn’t believe Holmes “Murder Castle” was used for anything like that. He stated that it was just his home.
I love being in this History series and the episode of the explosion of the rocket in 1992as the rocket engineer
I fell that this and the explosion of the rocket should be made into a movie it would be so large at movies theater s
Why did he tell his partner about the life insurance at all? You can take life insurance on anyone you want to… I don’t get why he did that. Things much different back than?
