Well the Ancient Mesoamericans basically invented medicine balls, they made would make 10 pound rubber balls from the surrounding rubber trees and play games with it, that’s one way they got jacked like imagine playing a basketball/football hybrid game throwing 10 pound balls around.
may you do islamic caliphate
Cuachicqueh were actually the highest rank. They refused to take a step back in retreat
The Ancient Mayans and their culture workout exercises and foods that the Ancient Mayans ate
As a Filipino, the Jaguar warrior outfit just looks magnificent.
Dr. Maya you need to come see the living Mexica ancestors to get a leaning.
Did you do the Mayan warrior?
I for one can’t never get over that assumption that the Aztecs were around for only 120 or so years, it just doesn’t add up.
Tomato, coyote and a whole bunch of other words we use commonly sometimes in an everyday conversation have their origins in the central valley of Mexico.
Thank you for seeing the culture for what it was not for what the blood thirsty Spanish said they were
Bro we know what you tryna do 😮😵💫😳
Did Aztecs do steroids?
Fly eagles fly
“Mythical”😂
Welp didnt think this is where I’d end up on YouTube, but here we are
dr maya 😍
I’ve studied Aztec military history and culture while I was at University, I was also a Marine, so here are some ideas on some of the key elements of Aztec training: Running and rucking at high altitudes at high intensity, preferably with large amounts of weight. It’s a misconception that Mexica warriors would’ve travelled light. There were no animals of burden to wage conflict, so it’s likely these guys had to supply themselves on campaigns relying on what they could carry or hunting off the land. Some of the best long distance runners are the descendants from the Aztecs, the Tarahumara, they sometimes run 50 to 60 miles a day through the Copper Canyons of Mexico. One Aztec Warrior workout would go something like this: 10 mile ruck through rough mountainous terrain with all of the gear to spend an indefinite amount of time out in the cold. Then gathering large amounts of water, carry it all to high ground, build a fighting position, and hunker down. Those were some tough guys, and probably had some ripped abs 😂Proud to be Mexican!
What about the shorn ones they were on top of the army
Pretty sure the Cuachicqueh were the most elite
Eagle powers, come to me… please!
Can they just get a guy to teach them the pronunciation, it’s not that hard to pronounce these words right… huitzilopochtli is Wi-tzi-lo-poch-tli not hitzilopokli
This was utterly laughable. So bad.
They weren’t brutal…..but they sacrificed humans to demonic gods. 🙄
Music is annoying..
Now I understand The Rage Against the Machine song People of the Sun ☀️ better
The Aztec Warriors, Eagle and Jaguar Warriors. And the Tlaxcalans warrios, who fight againts japanese pirates Phillipines (S. XVI).
We, The Mexicans. We have true history and culture.
For Honor
I’m Cherokee love Aztec culture
From what i understand it was a honour to be sacrificed . Nobility in death is important than anything else .
Man i gotta say it, theres no way you just threw a medicine ball 200 feet. That studio probably isnt even half that size. I thought you said be honest 😂
The Art History professor is making excuses for domination and brutality. Typical liberal.
Hey this is Kulkukan aka quetzal coat aka Bolon Yaktees Mayan feathered serpent in human form
The aztecs just wanted a hug…
Soy mexicano y encuentro en este video buenos puntos pero dependerá de lo que investigue uno como interesado.
the main difference between jaguar and eagle warriors is the social class or status. eagle warriors were noble
The attention to detail regarding Mexica Indigenous terminology is greatly appreciated. Thank you for doing your research Omar.
