Raksha Bandhan: Akshay’s song “Tere Saath Hoon Main” shows the sibling bond

The first song from Akshay Kumar’s upcom­ing movie Rak­sha Band­han is final­ly out and it’s titled Tere Saath Hoon Main. The ‘Sam­rat Prithvi­raj’ actor took to his Insta­gram and shared a song teas­er of his long-await­ed movie ‘Rak­sha Bandhan’.

Akshay shared the video with the cap­tion, “Sib­lings nev­er go through life alone as they have a broth­er or sis­ter to hold their hand.”

“Cel­e­brate this beau­ti­ful con­nec­tion with our song #Tere­Saath­Hoon­Main by #Rak­sha­Band­han, out now!” he added. The 2 min­utes and 54 sec­onds long song shows the love, bond and con­nec­tion between broth­er and sis­ter. An emo­tion­al num­ber fea­tur­ing a broth­er’s (Akshay) mind-blow­ing moments as his sis­ter gets married.

Direct­ed by Aanand L Rai and writ­ten by Himan­shu Shar­ma and Kani­ka Dhillon, the film is pro­duced by Col­or Yel­low Pro­duc­tions, Zee Stu­dios, Alka Hiranan­dani in asso­ci­a­tion with Cape Of Good Films.

Film­ing wrapped in Del­hi last Octo­ber. It had hit the ground on June 21, 2021.

Rak­sha Band­han is writ­ten by Aanand’s long­time col­lab­o­ra­tor and Nation­al Award-win­ning screen­writer Himan­shu Shar­ma, known for films such as Zero, Raan­jhanaa and the Tanu Weds Manu series.

It is pre­sent­ed and dis­trib­uted by Zee Stu­dios in asso­ci­a­tion with Alka Hiranan­dani and Aanand. The film, which is being sup­port­ed by Col­or Yel­low Pro­duc­tion in asso­ci­a­tion with Cape of Good Films, is slat­ed to hit the­aters on August 11, 2022.

Super­star Akshay Kumar will once again be on screen in his upcom­ing movie along­side ‘Toi­let Ek Prem Katha’ co-actor Bhu­mi Pednekar.

Rak­sha Band­han will be Akshay Kumar’s third release in 2022 after Bachch­han Paandey and Sam­rat Prithvi­raj. The point to note here is that Akshay Kumar with ‘Mr. Per­fec­tion­ist Aamir Khan at the box office and fans will be in for the biggest Bol­ly­wood fight of the year.
