Karan Johar is ready to rock the screens as his popular chat show, Koffee With Karan, makes a comeback. Koffee With Karan Season 7 will soon premiere on an OTT platform starting July 7th. And ever since Karan Johar announced the new season of his popular chat show, people have been eagerly awaiting to see their favorite stars get candid, real and funny on the “coffee” couch. However, in a recent interview, KJo revealed the name of the actor who would be a perfect host for the “Koffee” brand, and it’s none other than the ever-so-energetic Ranveer Singh.
Speaking to ETimes about who could be the host of KWK, the filmmaker said: “Ranveer Singh. He would be a great talk show host. I think he has the personality. He has a sense of humor. He has the ability to think on his feet. He has great repartee. I think he would be amazing.
Karan later revealed that Tiger Shroff is a surprising factor for him this season and audiences can see it in the upcoming episodes of KWK7. He said, “Tiger Shroff, this season. He was very, very quiet and introverted. He’s really opened up this season. If you see him when the episode airs, he’s been speaking a lot more than ever. I felt like he’d come into his own and some sort of presence was commanding him to bring it out.
On the work front, Karan is currently working on his upcoming project Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. With this film, KJo sits in the director’s chair after six long years.
