Actor R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is gaining momentum at the box office every day. The positive reviews from fans and critics are attracting more viewers to the theaters and people now wish the film to be as successful as Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files.
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is based on the life and hardships of Dr. Nambi Narayanan, a former ISRO scientist who was falsely accused of espionage and arrested for the same in 1994.
The film hit theaters on July 1. The film attracts a wider audience as it was shot simultaneously and released in three languages - English, Hindi and Tamil. The film collided with Aditya Roy Kapur’s film “Rashtra Kavach OM”. Although both films lacked the anticipated response on day one, R Madhavan’s film has now picked up pace.

According to the reports, the film has minted around Rs 9.73 Cr within the first four days of its theatrical release domestically. A media report claims that ‘Rocketry’ fetched Rs 1.30 crore for all languages on its fifth day in India. That means the film surpassed the 11 billion collection within a week.
The film is being made on a budget of Rs 60 crore. It stars R Madhavan as Nambi Narayanan while South American actress Simran plays his wife Meena Narayanan. Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya have cameo appearances in Hindi and Tamil versions of the film, respectively.
The film was written, directed and produced by R Madhavan. It is also praised by entertainment industry celebrities.
