It costs $450 and stands out for its great camera, eye-catching design and easy-to-use software. The downside? The screen is a little dim, there’s no wireless charging and the Pixel 6 was just on sale for almost the same price. Plus, you might want to wait until the Pixel 7 launches in the fall to decide which phone is the best choice. Right now, the Pixel 6A is a top choice for Android fans looking to spend less than $500.

Still can’t use Pixel phones across the whole Europe…
4:00 is it just me or the flowers in the photos are in the orange shade and not yellow?!
Poco F4 GT costs 440, has Snapdragon gen 1 processor, 120watts charging, 120 Watts amoled screen, 256GB ROM, 8 GB RAM, 5000mah battery.… And you say pixel 6A is the best phone under 500?
I got am unlocked Moto G100, 6’7 inch 1080 Super LCD display, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, Headphone Jack, SD card support, Snapdragon 870, 6K recording and imaging, Screen Mirror support for Laptop and TV, all for 299
No thanks
Zenfone 9 might be a better overall deal. Worth checking out on July 28th
The SD card slot and the 5000mah battery are enough to make me pick Samsung.
Pre orders mine this morning
buy anything , a cheap one will do better, I hate it, i got google pixel 1 and i fell in love with it, so i thought google 6 pro omg it most be amazing , big mistake, i can honestly say is the worst phone i have ever had, so bad it made me love my old samsung phone ‚so i said since i expend all this money in this trash I will use it to play music while i play, but no , this trash keeps stopping my music and it keeps tryint to snich , yes I HATE IT.
next Google Tablet, give like that Google will do a tablet
I think it’s important to note that those “alleged bugs” that a handful of the original Pixel 6 devices were experiencing have been eliminated for months now thanks to recent software updates — and those bugs can be attributed to Android 12 more than the actual devices! I purchased my standard Pixel 6 when it was launched and have never experienced ANY issues whatsoever! Even the fingerprint sensor has worked well.….…maybe a little laggy over the first few months but even that has improved immensely with the recent updates! Not only is the Pixel 6 a tremendous phone at $599.99 but it’s a tremendous phone PERIOD!
At 149$ delivered with free Pixel Buds (99$value) after 300$ Pixel 4a5g trade-in, why not? Don’t need 120hz screen–still not using it on my work 1+ 7Pro. Prefer the longer battery life, and already set up for Google Pixel chargers and USB C cables in office, home, & car. No need for Qi charging and case issues. Agreed that the Pixel 2 camera has improved, but do wonder how much longer they can still use it. Still not enough to beat the upgrade price. 149$=done deal.
I got the s22 for $580 at target. Just have them price match best buy for $599. Even could’ve said the price was $550 and they wouldn’t have cared because they didn’t even ask to see the web page lol. Also the deal at best buy requires activation on a post paid carrier so if you have prepaid you need to buy it from target. Unlocked Pixel 6a has no mmwave support. Also pixel 6a unlocks in your pocket. I don’t think the pixel 6a is worth it.
Having 58% battery at the end of a casual day of use sounds fantastic.
Um, Samsung says hello
Can you make a video on how to get free androids to review. I could review a couple and got my kids phones. With low income and 4 kids makes it hard. They’re just gonna use wifi but I’ve always wanted to review phones.
That Samsung phone is trash. It’s criminal that people are recommending it! The constant freezing and lagging is an absolute deal breaker, It doesn’t matter that it has 120 fps display!
Can i ask you ? why you need to constantly say “pixel 6a?” already in the second minute I started to feel sick
My friend wife just told me he was rushed to the hospital aftel his Pixel 6 exploded out of nowhere. The phone should be recalled. I am worried about my friend.
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building !!!!!!!!
Too bad Google Pixels don’t have notification LEDs. They’re very useful.
Guest what??
I received my Pixel 6a yesterday, and I just learned the 6a is NOT SUPPORTED by Cricket Wireless (an AT&T company), and the 6a is NOT SUPPORTED by Mint Mobile!!
I moved my Cricket Wireless SIM chip from a Pixel 4a to the new Pixel 6a, and the 6a BRICKED the SIM instantly, and the chip had to be replaced. The 6a SIM changeover also caused my Cricket account to be suspended for several hours.
Google Store is 100% aware of this issue and does not care. Google tried to get me to switch from Cricket to a much higher-priced Google Fi to solve the problem.
Google emailed an RMA, and my new 6a is going back tomorrow.
A BIG disappointment.
°
1. pixel 6a having unreliable fingerprint scanner, even unregistered thumb also can unlock the device, what a pretty security by google
2. Heating issues even in normal use
3. Over priced in india
4. Worst maintenance by google in india
$150 more and you get a pixel 6 so.…
i still have a Pixel 1 5 hr max charge, if not using. TIME TO UPGRADE ! the 6a looks like a great bargain. I take some photos, i dont record videos. i dont use many apps. i dont need alot of storage. looks to be a good size, not too big like the 6 pro. I’m interested in the 7, but i need a new phone NOW
Her hair color is distracting me
Copped one for $350! 😁
Who are these new people. What’s happened to our favorites??
She sounds like a robot and must have said google pixel 6a 50X in this video.
She sounds like a robot and must’ve said google pixel 6a 50X in this video.
I keep the slider on my pixel 6 at max brightness all the time, it’s practically unusable in bright lighting conditions . Pixel displays aren’t great when it comes to brightness nits
I ordered the Pixel 6a from Consumer Cellular for $249
6a look way better than the 6 in pictures. Returned my pixel 6 for the 6a and so much happier with the phone.
And as predicted. The 6a is $299 through Google and Amazon. Love it.
Got it for 330$. Not a bad phone.
I picked one up today when I noticed Google had it on sale for $299. From the sound of it, it’s well worth the upgrade from my 4a.
Yikes-!!! You said there at the end, “…and, I’ll see you here next time”, …does that mean you’re ‘seeing me NOW(?)’, …better cover my webcam here on my laptop; 😬
I’d rather have a 60 hertz display with a flagship chip than a 120 hertz display with the a53 that has a garbage processor that isn’t equipped to handle it. I swear people obsess over all the wrong things like high refresh rate, 4k video and a glass back. None of that matters if the battery is trash, calls suck or it lags so much it’s practically unusable. I also found on the 6a, I get 6 hours or so of screen on time. I’m guessing the a53 would be lucky to get 4–5 hours of screen on time. When you are comparing the 6a to the a53 it isn’t a competition, the 6a blows the a53 out of the water.
Fingerprint sensor works only some of the time. Bluetooth loses connection to some devices. I’m beginning to hate the phone. Loved my 3a xl. Should have kept it.
Super medam
Does it have Google Pay?
