New Delhi: Bollywood ace director and producer Karan Johar shared a heartfelt note on Friday to praise actor Ranveer Singh for his amazing personality.
Taking to Instagram, the ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ director shared a monochrome image of Ranveer with the caption: “So…no reason…no marketing agenda…no upcoming launch! Nothing! This is just a feeling I want to share with everyone! Ranveer Singh has grown on me! The man! The person! The ball of love that it is! His ability to make everyone he meets feel special… love that radiates from him, consuming his being and all of his aura… his passion for expressing every little gesture of love.”
Karan recently announced the completion of his upcoming film, Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahni, which stars Gully Boy couple Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
Discussing his experience working with the ‘Padmaavat’ actor, Karan added: “During the time of my film I watched him closely and from a distance, what a solid guy he is! Yes, he has his quirks as an artist, but that’s what we see translated so beautifully on celluloid! So he can! On a personal level I have been so touched at so many times just by his generosity of spirit! I love you Ranveer! Never lose sight of that “good” bacha” that you were raised to be.”
“I’ve always wanted to be in a Karan Johar film, a Dharma film. I didn’t know that my first Dharma film would be directed by the man himself, the boss.” Ranveer said in the shooting video.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer is next up to star in a period comedy film, Cirkus, alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film is slated for a Christmas 2022 release.
He will also star in Karan Johar’s Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
The film marks Karan’s return as director after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). The film is slated to hit theaters on February 10, 2023.
