US actress Anne Heche was hospitalized in critical condition after driving her car into a home in Los Angeles, US media reported on Friday.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that a vehicle struck a two-story home in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, “causing structural damage and erupting in a severe fire.”
The adult woman found in the car was “taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition by LAFD paramedics,” it said.

Heche is also known for her role on the soap opera Another World, for which she won a Daytime Emmy in 1991.
