I ❤ to be alone.
Great video !
I really hope this guy wins…he is awesome!!!!
All u need is pine leaves on the ground and a blanket tarp like thing covered over you for a bed. Don’t need to build. During the day be mobile. Minimal is key in survival.
He’s a payed actor people.😒 we’ve been boombasold. He eats and sleeps like a king every night😒. They watch TV play video games probably GTA 5 just guessing. 🤔 they have generator’s and WiFi. And let’s not forget the helicopter 🚁 part not to far away. All right boys The gig is up. Your fooling absolutely nobody🧐

Deadly video! Prospecting time lol
Hey! Thanks for posting about my shelter!

All of these shelers are huge waste of time and calories. You can make a fine sleeping shelter, good to 20F without a fire, in half a day. Do so using HALF of your 12x12 tarp and some of the big roll of Gorilla tape. Stuff it with dry debris or bough-ends. In the rest of the day, you can make a 7 ft high work-pavilion out of the 10x10 tarp that they give you. Then if you need the one way projected heat of 1–4 Siberian fire lays around the sides of the pavillion, in order to work in the cold rain and wind, so be it. The sleeping shelter is little bigger than a coffin. That, the 1 ft thick layer of insulating debris and the 5 layers of alpaca wool clothing is how you not only dont need a fire inside of it, you also dont need a sleeping bag. Instead, take the more useful reflective tyvek bivy from 2GoSystems. You can WEAR the bivy as a poncho vs rain, Ditto the 10x10 tarp and the tarp and tape anorak and pants that you make. With debris between those layers, you dont have to risk getting your wool clothing wet. If conditions are wet, dont leave your shelter unless you MUST and if you must, leave your wool clothing in the shelter.. Then you wont have to dry out wet clothing and as soon as you again get into your shelter, you’ll have dry, warm clothing to wear. You’ll save at least 3 weeks of time and calories doing things this way, not having to haul and process firewood.
when you leave, your shelter will be destroyed. That’s part of the deal made with the tribes. you are NOT homesteading for 30+ years. You’ll be gone in 80 days. So forget the long term shelter bs and concentrate on winning the money by conserving your calories. There just isn’t a way to feed yourself now that the producers have so horribly screwed you over about the netting, fishing lures, hunting, trapping, etc. So dont play their stupid game. Keep your shelter a 1 day build, needing no fire nor sleeping bag. Take both rations and the salt. Stay holed-up and WIN.
Woniya’s idea of an oversized sweater made of rope, is a great idea, but the producers, scum that they are, will probably make that against the rules for season 10. It frees up one of your 10 picks for something else, since you’ll have the cordage need provided for by a layer of clothing that you dont really need. You get to take 8 layers of clothing for your torso, but only 5 for your legs. Since you can’t really fish anymore, it’s not nearly as useful for you to make the pontoon outrigger raft, which uses-up the backpack and 3 pieces of clothing. You stuff those items with debris, having water proof sprayed them while still at home. Given your sewing taping of the seams of those items, they will function just fine as pontoons. That means that you only need a small framework of logs for your raft, and it wont matter at all if the logs wont float by themselves.
the sleeping shelter should be 3 ft high (triangular in cross section) at your feet and 4 ft high at the head end, 7 ft long. this lets you have a foot thick layer of debris between you, the ground and the tent. It also lets you kneel or squat and eliminate your bodily wastes into a tarp and tape lined wicker basket, and not have to don all of your clothing and go outside every few hours (or stink up your shelter). This room also lets you make netting while inside of your shelter. If you have to heat up a couple of rocks outside for half an hour and bury them under your bedding, surrounding them with 2″ of ashes, so be it. Those 2 head sized rocks will warm your shelter for 4–5 hours. That netting will catch crabs, birds, beaver, rabbits, fish. It only takes a couple of 1/4″ ID holes to let in enough light for you to see by and you have both a head lamp and a light for the camera.. So, no, you wont be working in the dark.
thankyou
I couldnt stand this guy. His constant virtue signaling and mommy issues drove me nuts. I had to fast forward through most of his segments.
And that explains that. The great outdoors is great when you want it to be.
I like his attitude…
“T” , KERRY LEE, ADAM, AND THE SWEET LATINO BOY MADE THIS MY FAVORITE EPSODES WITH THEIR UNIQUE CHARACTERS AND WAYS OF COPING❤
All the survival “pros” in the comments got me in stitches
I wish it was legal to go and build something like this in real life
So why did he tap out?
