Oh man! The whole OJ thing is … I hope people with diabetes also look into things that can be left next to a bed like glucagon (injection) or oral glucose gel.
OMG, you just share your father’s phone 🙁
Very informative…learning somethin new..tqvm sir
Fantastic video. My 67-year-old Dad recently ended up in Hospital because his heart was beating at 160 beats per minute while resting. This was happening for a number of days and he didn’t even feel it. It was only that he had a Fitbit that it showed him the elevated heart rate. The cardiologist told him if he had waited any longer he would have had a stroke.
😍 I have diabetes type 2.
I’d argue it’s the glucose monitor that saved your life but who cares about little details like this right? Doesn’t make such a clickbaity title anyways 🤷♂
Samsung watches offer all of this as well and the watch didn’t save your life, it was the amazing technology that the arm glucose tracker has. People without a watch would get the same notifications on their smartphone if they didn’t have a watch, again, Apple didn’t save your life, the glucose tracker company did, thank them instead!!
Nowadays you just want to shuffle
He forgot heart monitor and the ECG feature. Heart Monitor is available on all Apple Watches and detects your heart rate. This is nothing new most fitnesses trackers have this feature. They can alert of higher than normal heart rates. If it doesn’t detect your exercising and your heart rate is over 100 beats per minute. The Apple Watch can alert you to that condition. The Apple Watch Gen 4 and later minus Apple Watch SE have the ECG feature. This feature can detect Afib, a serious arrhythmia problem of the heart. Afib happed to me twice. By the time I saw my doctor (ER is way too expensive), the arrhythmia went away and they couldn’t find anything wrong. My doctor told me if it happens again, I should go to ER. To me just the ECG feature prompted me to see my doctor is a life saver.
Justin, I’m curious as to how the Apple Watch knows that your blood sugar was low. Can you explain that please.?
Great video bro.
Pretty cool stuff!
What is the app on your watch to communicate your sugar level? My sugar monitor device are from freestyle Libre in Canada.
if YouTube exist long long time ago, I’m sure similar video would be made for cell phones, not even needing smartphones Apple Watch is def great, but I do wish apple can really make it into a medical devices… yes it is an amazing device and it can help ppl, but I think it can help more ppl if apple tweak it in a way and release their full potential.
Apple wants you to stay alive so that you can buy more of its products!
All of this because of Steve Jobs. Beautiful!❤️
How do you know it save your life
You should get a mini fridge in your room for an emergency
Well , im riding a motorcycle so.. you can see why it benefits me
Hi i have anaphylaxis I will like to know if the apple watch can help with that
Yo bro you just plastered your dad’s cell all over youtube at 3:01 hope you see this.
gyroscope is not gravity sensor.
i watching this because i was messing around and was trying to do a back bend, resulting in me falling. i wasn’t hurt but it definitely was a hard fall. i didn’t even know fall detection was a thing, so i was surprised when i got the alert. i tried faking a fall a few times to see what would happen, and was again surprised when no alert was made. im always very interested in how accurate the apple watch it
This may be the reason I keep my ultra…..just got it yesterday but was going to return it tomorrow

Yes, but what if you move because you fall like next to a fence and it wont call emergency services
Great video Justin!! Thank you!! What model iPhone watch do you use or recommend? Do you have to have your iPhone with you at all times in order for fall detection to work?
I am a highly distracted person and I could forget my phone at any moment, that is why an Apple Watch with cellular is a better choice for me since I can call my family in any situation, and thanks for showing me does features now this are lifesaver features too thanks a lot for showing me. Also I want to have peace of mind over being stressed if I forget my phone. That is why a cellular Apple Watch is a life saver for me.
apple products are trash mate
it was when I wore my samsung watch and i was driving and then a Car Crash happened my watch and my watch dected it and called SOS And then it alerted my emergency contacts.
Emergency tip: if Siri didn’t respond to you try to press down the side button of your iPhone 5 times (or you can say press the side button rapidly) if you have an Apple watch hold down the side button and slide the emergency button as soon as possible, there’s another choice for the Apple Watch but I won’t recommend it and it’s holding down the side button for 6 seconds or higher which in this condition is almost impossible
Great review! I have to say, though. I’m diabetic and have never suffered PTSD from low glucose lol
Apple watch is the best. Fitbits are like a child’s toy when you compare the two
this has a lot of useful info, but its tone is anxiety-producing. I would like the info about what the watch can do for me without all the “oh years old ways you can die.”
My next watch will be Apple, of course. I heard about the 911 feature and decided to turn to YouTube. Thank you!
In the event of an emergency, if we have to look at the screen to activate the SOS, the attacker would harm us. There should be a way to activate the SOS, without looking at the screen so the attacker would not know our intention. Also, if we use Siren, the siren is not loud enough. 😢
Ok what if I don’t want the emergency services called but just an email or text message sent and audible alarm. For aged care purpose. Can Apple watch have options set like that. Or it’s pretty set in its ways?
