Good info. Thanks!
Roku seriously dropped the ball by having Micro USB on their voice remote pro instead of USB‑C.
😂😂😂 👎👎👎
The Roku app always crashes when trying to access the expert TV settings and it’s been like the for a very long time
I have the 4K Roku I like the OS and remote but the image sucks. Leaves a rainbow effect in the image that’s not consistent. Happens on solid colors or brighter objects that moves from side to side. Anyone else experience this?
Roku doesn’t seem all that appealing to me
Interesting a lot of spam comments complaining about Roku. I have yet to experience a better smart TV system…. have been using Roku for years now.
Just get a android box for 50$ and a wireless mouse.
Great Tips! I love the remote finding feature. One quick addendum to this process though, the voice remote pro has to be in always listening mode in order to find it with your voice. This does not have to be enabled to use the button on the Roku ultra.
Funny this popped up since I’ve been thinking about buying a Roku or Amazon Stick. Looks like Roku is a better buy.
👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
you could clean your phone at least
All my TV’s are powered by ROKU. I even power a Roku TV with a Roku device as its better and faster then the TV, lol. I use some of these tips now.
Just be careful. A lot of Roku TVs don’t play well with the app, and there are some settings that you can only get to if you use the app. I’ve been wanting to adjust some of the more specific colors and my tv, but the app just doesn’t connect. If you go to the Roku app on Android at least, you will see tons and tons and tons of people who have the same problem and it hasn’t been fixed in almost a year
OMG. I am an ex Tech from 30 years ago. This stuff is way over my head and it is engineers mistakingly think that we can absorb all of this as if it is basic .It is not, it is far far far too much to understand . I think I will be happy to just watch a normal TV .They are even complicated with so many channels and time differences, it really does my head in .…..lololol This woman means well , but she has lost me in the first minute
I wish I had known about sound level and night mode sooner! It’s been a pain in the $%&! to constantly have to turn the volume up and down when I watch a movie to avoid waking up the entire neighborhood. If this works on toning down loud commercials too, it’ll be a huge bonus.
Has anyone experienced lag on the 2019 streaming stick+ (3810 model) lately?
Alternatives: I recommend the Nvidia Shield TV. Even if you don’t play games on it, features like AI upscaling, the ability to play personal media, more ram and storage is a win in my book
She has a very nice voice 😌
Roku TV is a BIG Scam
The replay I knew it existed, but I did not know how to turn it on. Thanks…
I hate my Roku TV.. the ads are so annoying. On the phone app, you literally can’t press a button more than 3 times before having to see an ad. It’s comical.
This lady knows how to dress. Very elegant
Gotta say that the leveling feature was key. The sound drives me nuts sometimes when the commercial or the action in a show is louder than the voices. Thanks for that tip 🙂
Does anyone know how to get my DVD movies to play w/o the picture looking distorted? I have done everything possible to get the picture to look like it does on original TV. Legs of people look too short, when I’m suppose to see the entire picture, it only shows top half of people.🤷
I hate the find your remote feature because mine just constantly over multiple times three or four times one after another one to send out a noise for me to find a remote and I already got it in my hands how can you stop that?
Seriously? streaming expert that’s what they’re going with?
I’m using Roku stick
With YouTube installed in my cable system, when I pause a video I can make it lighter and take any extras off the screen so I can see what I want to see, by pressing the back button which clears up the screen. I don’t seem to find a way to do that with the Roku flash drive, which is kind of idiotic considering you’re actually pausing the screen in most cases to take a good look at what you want to see instead of looking at a dark screen with program information and such on it that you can’t get rid of.
The one thing I like about the Roku 4K streaming stick is in the settings you can choose what resolution you want to watch in. From 720p up to 4K Dolby Vision 60fps. Not bad for a inexpensive device.
I have the voice command roku
You’re a gem! My mom, 80, me ‑59…issues explaining from 973 mi. away, (Apple), …we’ll try working together…using your video!
