DJI Avata is DJI’s first cinewhoop style FPV drone #shorts

The DJI Avata is the most beginner friendly first-person flying gadget yet. Just pull a trigger to fly forward and tilt to steer for 19 minutes on a charge. Shame the glorious 1080p60 dual-OLED flying experience doesn’t have a beginner pricetag to match: it’s $1,388 for the kit.

They might at as well price them in regards to kidneys….
All that for 18mins!! Which means half that because you have to double back home to your landing zone. I’m good.
Can you fly it with a regular rc controller?

Sorry but why an among us remix as the music?
Test flew this yesterday. Was slowly and smoothly flying back to the store around 100m all clear environment, and crashed for no reason — said something about propeller being obstructed by objects. Luckily, no one was hurt. Was flying with the joystick.
Found the drone, and saw that the sd-card/usb‑c port flap was open — likely busted open during flight, got entangled with the prop, and caused the crash.
Exported flight data but was indeterminate.
I have 1000+ hours of flight with my Mini 3 Pro no issues. I think with DJI you have to wait 2–3 months for a new product to mature. Like with M3P the screen fogging issue that was later fixed with updated manufacturing.
Buy early and get burned.
That thing is so expensive should have been priced around $500–800. I don’t know about no $1388 for a toy that has 18 minutes of fly time. Keep in mind it costs DJI only $106 dollars to produce this thing so the profit margins are even bigger than their average 1/10 production cost to profit margin.
