The Meyers Manx 2.0 Is How the Past Should Become the Present

Meyers Manx 2.0 is how retro cars should be brought into the present. Its electric power is the least-interesting thing about it. The authentic design and open-air cheek is where it shines.

Is it automatic or manual?
The front axle!
In the 70’s Deep Purple Dune Buggy
N.Y. Suburb rolling around -,very very cool.
Wish they would sell these as a kit-car option. Would be cool to put one of these together and you wouldn’t have to worry about production laws
Just one thing, can you set a beer on the fenders? That was one of the design requirements for the original Manx design
Did I see a rear seat in there?
Sorry to be a grouch, but the fact that there isn’t a street legal mid to full sized EV this freaking simple that is available for the general public, really freaking ticks me off.
Negative !
Seats without headrests have been illegal since 1968.
Wheels sticking out of fenders a no-no.… lack of mud flaps in the back to stop stones kicked up into windshields.
But can taken it on a golf course
Excellent, informative article — more like this, please!
I ordered mine. Although I don’t know how much it cost, or where I’ll put it.
I guess I missed where it’s street legal plans were discussed?
Not REAL chrome. “Chrome” plastic wrapping that scratches easily and looks cheap. Chrome needs to die off with the baby boomers. It’s cheap and tacky especially whenever it’s competing with matte black plastic trim. Earth elements will tear this external chrome wrap to shreds.
Oh fk yeah bud!
I think many people would want one….They are just fun.
I’m interested. How much will it cost to deliver to Malta 🇲🇹 EU.
They need to implement the new Tesla plug standard for this thing to be perfect
wish they sold shells of these 2023 dune buggies, and all you have to do is put the really old VW engine in it, and slap the classic buggy mirrors on and the classic speedometer..
Will this be street legal in California? Is it towable?
4:18 Wait! Still no Storage under the Bonnet. Whats is inside that 15 Gallon Fluid Tank under the Bonnet? Maybe Coolant for the batteries and motors? A car this Caliber should have a full size spare.
This gives me “19–2000” vibes
Unfortunately their website doesn’t have much info or price available
Siapa yg kesini gara2 lihat film warkop DKI Maju kena mundur kena. 😅
Electric? 🤮
Never get electric cars wet with salt water…they will burn like a fire you have never seen before..can start at any time..
BF INJECTION from GTA
The Manx probably inspired the Speed Buggy Saturday morning show in the 70’s and maybe influencing sales for Manx.
Beautiful… but a total miss on not mentioning cost.
I want one of these because the Bifta is my fav car in GTA‑V.
I have a 1968 Meyers Manx buggy and I think this thing is cool, well thought out and just enough modern to give it broader appeal.
If I had one I would pull the electric motor out and use it for a garage door opener and put a real motor in it… Some things just shouldn’t be fooled with…
Gonna have a hard time selling them at 75k. 125k if you want an early build.
Way to kill an iconic brand. A car the average person could pick up and have fun has now become a car only the rich can really afford.
So cool
I’d like to see an electric “Schwimmwagen” model based on the design.
May need a few more things to make it street legal. Headrests and airbags come to mind, but I could be wrong.
I’m going to guess, as the creator said in another vid, not cheap, but not expensive, this model right there, $75k.
