We’ve known the PlayStation VR 2 was coming for a while, but we finally got to try four games on Sony’s second-gen VR gaming system. Not only is the hardware is streamlined, but the gameplay is also much more immersive. We just wish it wasn’t tethered.

Which VR games are you most excited about?
When i thought oculus is better
Wooh i imagined how perfect to watch XXX movies in this helmet
I’m getting it
If the headband pad is the same as before expect the faux leather covering to start disintegrating after about 3½ to 4 years. No real biggie but, be warned, the bloody stuff gets into just about everything.
Good luck trying to get one. The damn console is still almost impossible
Victoria: nailing the hosting. Nicely done!
Can you use the dual sense controller for psvr2 instead of the normal dual sense controller on PS5?
Unlike Quest 2, Sony will not cut any corners. The design of the entire PSVR 2 is far superior to the CHEAP Quest 2. Of course, it is not a stand alone headset, but I don’t need a stand alone headset anyway. LOL
IGN stated there was no noticeable screen door effect. You say that it was quite noticeable. You also don’t seem to care much about anything your saying. I need another opinion.
I have one question that has not been answered, is the headset cable user replaceable?
Thanks for the very informative video. I already have a psvr and a vive and am going to upgrade eventually but it’s soooo hard to decide as each headset has advantages and disadvantages over the others. What’s puting me off buying a psvr2 over a pimax/index is the 110 degrees fov which is only 10 degrees over the original. I remember the difference between the psvr1 and the vive wasn’t hardly perceptible unless a reduced face cover was used on the vive . I know that the index even though down as 107 degrees on paper feels like 130 degrees to a lot of people that use it so am wondering how the psvr2 compares to the index and and HTC vive and psvr1?
Pre-ordered!
Just placed an order on the VR2 it’s around 600 after taxes.
Is it true that 20+ major first-party and third-party titles will be released for PS VR2, powered by mediatek?
I hope this works our well for Sony — the features look amazing including mediatek’s first VR SoC and the design look stylish and modern as well.
whats the finger tracking like, is it like valve index or quest 2?
So nobody gonna talk about how she has the headset backwards cause the earcups won’t fit you ears correctly and hurt if it’s the wrong way as the back has more room for the back of the ear sticking out so her ears had to be tight and squished
I hope I can still use all my 3D movies on it like the previous headset, and it would be cool if they could be upgraded to 4k.
I don’t know if you have contracts stating you can’t critique the ps5 VR, but either way this video is by and large useless.
“it doesn’t revolutionize the world of VR” is the only valueable takeaway from this video, which in it’s contextless position isn’t very useful either.
“we wish it wasn’t thetered” is a really plebian take, like come on, if it’s immersive enough then it’s of no concern at all; and more of a personal preference. Many people prefer cables for wifi, audio and image due to instability and the limited life span of batteries. “i felt immersed” isn’t exactly very descriptive either.….….
I’ll watch some other techtubers and see if they manage to be better than an entire company.
Sony will revolutionise the games with there big triple a vr games
that he have not seen so many of in the vr market so far except few handful tittles like half life alex rv8
