I think the new iPad and its pric­ing is dumb. It is only com­pat­i­ble with the first Gen Apple Pen­cil even though the design of the iPad changed to look like the new­er mod­els. You’d assume it would be com­pat­i­ble with sec­ond gen pen­cils. And with this design in mind, it makes me think why apple wouldn’t allow first gen Apple Pen­cil sup­port on new­er design iPad mod­els! And to top things off, the screen isn’t laminated! 

Now to be fair, it is a base mod­el iPad. So I can under­stand their choice of screen and pen­cil sup­port as well as chipset. But look­ing at it from afar, it is a re-released iPad Air 4 with down­grad­ed screen type and weird front fac­ing cam­era posi­tion. That’s why they still have 9th gen iPads still on sale along with this thing. In my opin­ion it would have been fine if they stopped sell­ing 9th gen iPads and sold this one only at base mod­el price of $329.

It’s basi­cal­ly the 2020 ipad air with A 14 bion­ic chip and dif­fer­ent­ly posi­tioned front camera.🤔

So basi­cal­ly, the iPad Air 4 from 2020 is now the iPad 10

1st gen apple pen­cil using light­ning con­nec­tor,
and that new ipad has Usb C.
Make it make sense.

This is lii­i­i­i­it­er­al­ly just the 2020 iPad Air but you can’t use the 2nd Gen Apple Pen­cil or Mag­ic Keyboard.

At least it’s $100 cheap­er — which it should be as it’s basi­cal­ly just a bud­get 2020 iPad Air.
