I live in the Mayan Riv­iera. In June 26, 2021, I went on my bal­cony (3rd floor) to smoke a cig­a­rette before I go to bed like I do almost every night. It was 23:28. As I light the cig­a­ret I see over the top of the trees, a cloud illu­mi­nat­ed by two orbs hov­er­ing over the jun­gle. These were two orange balls very bright beat­ing like hearts. Sud­den­ly one plunged in the jun­gle while the oth­er sim­ply dis­ap­peared. Usu­al­ly I have the phone with me but that night, my cell­phone was installing an bloody update. Any­way, things went fast. I wrote to the plan­e­tar­i­um where they fre­quent­ly orga­nize astro­nom­ic soirées at the plan­e­tar­i­um hop­ing there was one that night and saw some­thing to com­fort my sight­ings, and their answer was dumb as if I had watched shoot­ing stars. Idiots.
