Asus launches Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED in India — Check prices, features and other details

On Thurs­day, Novem­ber 10th, Asus unveiled the Zen­book 17 Fold OLED as its lat­est high-end fold­able lap­top. The all-new Asus Zen­book 17 Fold OLED fea­tures a 17.3‑inch fold­able screen with 100 per­cent DCI-P3 col­or. It has a ter­abyte of fast SSD stor­age and the 12th Intel Core i7 processor.

The brand’s top-of-the-line ProArt Stu­dio­book Pro 16 OLED costs more than Rs 3 lakh in India than the new fold­able Zen­book. Let’s explore all of its specifics. The Zen­book 17 Fold OLED is priced at Rs. 3,29,990 in the US and is only avail­able in black.

Both online and offline autho­rized com­pa­nies will offer it for sale. These include Vijay Sales, Cro­ma, Reliance Dig­i­tal, Flip­kart and Ama­zon. The lap­top is also avail­able from Asus retail­ers, ROG Stores, Asus Exclu­sive Stores, and the Asus Online Store.

The lap­top was recent­ly pre-ordered in India. A free exter­nal SSD, 3‑year war­ran­ty pack­age and 1‑year acci­den­tal dam­age pro­tec­tion are avail­able for pre-orders. The Zen­book 17 Fold OLED is a large lap­top with a mag­ne­sium-alu­minum alloy chas­sis and a large form fac­tor. It is also cer­ti­fied to MIL-STD 810H, the mil­i­tary standard.

It fea­tures a 17.3‑inch FOLED screen with a res­o­lu­tion of 2560 x 1920 pix­els. The pan­el has a res­o­lu­tion of 1920 x 1280 pix­els and mea­sures 12.5 when fold­ed. The screen has a con­trast ratio of 1000000:1, a bright­ness of 500 nit and a 100% DCI-P3 col­or space. It is also com­pat­i­ble with Dol­by Vision and Dis­play­H­DR True Black 500.

The Intel Core i7-1250U proces­sor and Iris Xe graph­ics give the lap­top its pow­er. It packs 1TB of PCIe 4 SSD stor­age with a speed of 6500MB/s and 16GB of DDR5 RAM at 5200MHz.

It includes an ASUS ErgoSense Blue­tooth key­board that sup­ports quick tog­gles. There is a 5 megapix­el web­cam on the front for video chats and meet­ings. For audio, there’s a quad stereo speak­er con­fig­u­ra­tion, and there’s sup­port for Cor­tana and Alexa voice assistants.

The lap­top has a 75Wh bat­tery that sup­ports 65W fast charg­ing. The lap­top starts with Win­dows 11 Home and comes pre­in­stalled with MyA­SUS and ScreenX­pert 3. He also has a sub­scrip­tion to Microsoft Office Home & Stu­dent and WiFi 6E. It includes a USB Type‑C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, two Thun­der­bolt 4 ports, and oth­er interfaces.
