Meta-owned Instagram has announced that it will launch a new post scheduling feature and a new website design for a better user experience. Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, made the announcement on his Twitter account by posting a video explaining the new feature and update.
Schedule Posts allows creators to schedule their posts for the next 75 days. The new feature will be available to creators soon.
The second announcement Mosseri made was the redesigned website. “We know a lot of people use the internet to multitask, and we wanted to make sure Instagram is as awesome online as it can be,” Mosseri said.
“So it’s cleaner, faster, easier to use and now designed to take advantage of big screen monitors,” he added. Previously, the social media platform rolled out new features to protect users from abuse, along with updates to Hidden Words.
When you block someone, you have the ability to ban additional accounts they may need to have to make it harder for them to reconnect with you, the company said. Hidden Words is an effective tool to automatically remove malicious content from message requests and comments.
