Nani Soni Razdan talks to dad about new mom Alia Bhatt and says she gives her lots of advice: Baby is fine, mom is fine

Alia Bhatt and Ran­bir Kapoor are back at their home in Mum­bai with their daugh­ter. The actors became par­ents to a baby girl on Novem­ber 6 and Alia was dis­charged from HN Reliance Foun­da­tion Hos­pi­tal in Mum­bai on Thurs­day. Alias ​​moth­er Soni Raz­dan spoke pub­licly about her grand­daugh­ter for the first time while attend­ing the spe­cial screen­ing of upcom­ing film Uun­chai in Mum­bai on Wednes­day. The new Nani (grand­moth­er) told jour­nal­ists and dads at the screen­ing that her grand­daugh­ter was “kudrat ka daan hai (a bless­ing of nature)”.

When asked if she gave Alia Bhatt any tips, Soni said: “Haan bohut sare tips dete rehte hai (yes, I give her a lot of tips). Ek ma hoon mein, Tips kaise nahi doon­gi, bohut sari tips dee hain (I’m a moth­er how do I not tip Alia, I have shared many tips).” Speak­ing fur­ther about her daugh­ter, the actor said, “Of course she (Alia) is a moth­er, she has many things to dis­cov­er for her­self, which she will do.”

Answer­ing anoth­er ques­tion, Soni Raz­dan said of Ali­a’s daugh­ter: “Aap keh sak­te hain yeh ek daan hai, bless­ing grove, kudrat ka daan hai (you can call it a bless­ing of nature). We are just very, very hap­py, thank­ful and thank­ful that every­thing went well. Baby is good, moth­er is good. Every­one is safe. Yeh sab darr hota hai jab kisi ka bachcha paya hone wala hai (there are fears when a woman is about to give birth). For this we pray that all will be well, sab sahi sala­mat ho jaye (we pray that all will be well). And of course we are very, very happy.”

Short­ly after wel­com­ing her and Ran­bir’s daugh­ter, Alia had tak­en to Insta­gram to share her big news. The post read: “And the best news of our lives — our baby is here… and what a mag­i­cal girl she is. We are offi­cial­ly burst­ing with love — blessed and obsessed par­ents!!!” Alia had arrived at HN Reliance Foun­da­tion Hos­pi­tal in Mum­bai with Ran­bir on Sun­day morn­ing. The cou­ple were lat­er joined by their moth­ers, Nee­tu Kapoor and Soni Raz­dan, among oth­er fam­i­ly mem­bers. Celebri­ties includ­ing San­jay Dutt and Ayan Muk­er­ji vis­it­ed Ran­bir and Alia in the hospital.
