Actor Hrithik Roshan and actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan’s production house FilmKraft Productions has reportedly bought a property in Mumbai. The property has eight parking spaces and covers an area of 10,000 square feet at Marathon Futurex in the Lower Parel district of Mumbai, according to data accessed by CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm. The data said that Rakesh and Hrithik’s production house, FilmKraft Productions Pvt Ltd, invested in four office apartments.
The father-son duo bought the property for a whopping 33 crores. The sale agreement has been filed and around Rs 2 crore in stamp duty has been paid on the transaction, the report said.
In early 2020, the actor had reportedly bought several sea-view apartments in Mumbai under a report for Rs 97.5 crore with the intention of incorporating them into one. According to the Mumbai Mirror, one apartment is a duplex penthouse and the other is a single storey house. The report further mentioned that the condo offers uninterrupted views of the Arabian Sea and covers a total area of 38000 square feet. There is a 6500 square foot patio and the family will have access to 10 parking spaces. Hrithik reportedly paid Rs 67.5 crore for the duplex which spans 27534 sqft and Rs 30 crore for the 14th floor apartment which spans 11165 sqft.
Hrithik has frequently shared images of his sea-view home on social media during the coronavirus lockdown. According to the report, the Roshans rented an apartment in Juhu in June 2020, reportedly paying 8.25 lakh a month. The sprawling house covers an area of approximately 3,000 square meters.
On the work front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Vikram Vedha alongside Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte. Directed by Pushkar-Gayathri, the film received mostly positive reviews from fans and critics alike. The film was produced on a budget of Rs 175 crore and grossed Rs 135 crore at the box office.
Hrithik will next be seen in aerial action film Fighter opposite Deepika Padukone. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on January 25, 2023.
