Nir­mal Pathak was only three years old when his father left this vil­lage and took Nir­mal along with him to New Del­hi. 24 years lat­er, now a grown-up adult, Nir­mal comes back to his roots. It’s love at first sight for Nir­mal in the vil­lage. Alas, with­in a few days he comes face to face with the stark real­i­ties of vil­lage life. He begins to under­stand why his father Mohan Pathak had left the vil­lage 24 years back. 24 years lat­er, Nir­mal too arrives at the same situation.
