Recharge time 5days?
for fleet trucks, it makes sense to have swappable battery packs
Social media and the press told me to hate Elon Musk, therefore I hate this truck…
Nikola? Nikola has been exposed as being a complete fraud. This is lazy and unimaginative reporting! Get it together!
A RV conversion of this truck will be bananas specially with 500–600 miles of range given your not hauling heavy loads. I would love to see a sleeper cab version also.
Really now you’re giving Tesla a decent chance
Probably $1000,000.00 a piece and would take 10 years to make. Fuuuhk Ellon Musk😏
Did Tesla give the tare vehicle weight? 82k lbs was the GVW and the maximum allowed, but the real question is what can it legally haul? If the semi has a TVW of 50k lbs, then that would be a grossly reduced payload versus an ICE prime-mover and trailer (usually about 30k lbs TVW). Regardless, impressive test and vehicle. I think its real value is going to be in local distribution, rather than long haul, but a nice step forward (finally).
