It’s the most wonderful time of the year in the Forge! Four merry bladesmiths gather ’round the fire to spread holiday cheer. Using gifts of high carbon steel along with some mild steel, the smiths must use the San Mai technique to forge their way onto the judges’ nice list. Will our wise men be impressed by the gifts they are given, or will they turn into Scrooges?

I bet the cowboy lookin fella woulda made a better final blade
i miss Will !!

I still love it when the bladesmiths look shocked when someone like Doug that actually knows how to swing the weapons. They always seem to have an expression like, “Whoa, that weapon I made can do that?”
another win for new mexico
The most cringing episode I ever watched
I was hoping they would be making teh knives the christmas tree growers use to shape their trees. Long, thin, light, razor sharp.
Boyd is the first person I’ve seen that told Doug.…“oh no”.…everybody wants to see Doug do his thing…but not boyd
These guys had so many problems in the final round…wow
Does anyone else think they have a BBQ with those pigs after the show?
Glad to see Boyd win.
Why do they have to surrender their blade?? Why not let them keep it
bad bad bad decision
On the pig they cut completely different the 1st one went all the way through with 1 slash the 2nd one took 2
I really liked the idea of this first round challenge
Notice the canted chops during the yule log test.
24:29 when the doom music kicks in
They shoulda had jay swinging the Saber in the strength test
Dave’s more like the Santa in Narnia- he gives out swords as presents
♫Let’s do the blade warp again
Shouldn’t it be the SLEIGH test?
That kid didn’t sound anything like will
Jamie was struggling to control his coal forge. Burned steel won’t forge weld very well. I wish he had used a propane forge so we could have seen his original planned weapon. Now I want to build a sword. Never tried, yet.
I love how the competitors basically just decided, “ok lads, let’s just hammer the nutcracker.” and worked together.
I´m kinda disappointed that David didn´t wore a Santa costume at some time of the competition, but thanks for giving us another full episode!
I’ll never understand when people throw the biggest log of wood on the handle and try to work it down. It happens so often.
I kinda disagree with the judges. Yeah it was heavy BUT the other guy’s took a warp. Plus the heavy one chopped that pig way better. Heavy can be a good thing.
I challenge this decision based on the blade bending VS weight ‚
The blade was compromised because of the bend,
I was mad Bill got out in round two, I was rooting for him! Also loved his accent!
Congratulation it will kill
Guess the judges and host gave the final two contestants a present in the final round and dropped a parameter. Neither contestants put 3 forward tines and no one said a thing about it.
Ben was so over confident it was funny to see him leave first 😂😂😂
No sir that is a loss to leave first😅😅
Bend should have been auto loss
Will absolutely buried all the judges after he left the show lol
Blade making wtf 😮 🫢😱
11:06 that blade catchin on fire again is one of the coolest things ive ever seen
Good job Jamie! Way not to quit. Good job Boyd!
is oovveerr
Damnit, Jamie was the one that actually needed the 10k for a better forge… sad times…
The 2nd judge don’t know how to swing every tool I see a slight faulted in his swi g at the very end he changes up his angle from 45 degree to 90 as soon as the iron meets the ice
34:19 the little boy was so cute❤😂
I’m sorry but I don’t understand how Jaime ever got on to a show like forged and fire. He is an absolutely terrible Smith.
One sword is to heavy, do you have a weight limit on what they should be, because the lighter one bent and still wins?
Nelson is a duesh bag
Fun Fact:
My Buck 110 has survived the Christmas Tree test for many years now
