re: byrd fly­ing into “tun­nels” under the ice? how would they have known the “tun­nels” weren’t dead end caves? were they on a sui­cide mis­sion? do you think the mil­i­tary would have ok’ed that type of explo­ration instead of going in by foot? risk­ing lives and lots of mon­ey in air­planes? i don’t buy it — it does­n’t ring true.
