What’s weird is that you probably could have found somebody within an intimidating face shape that would play the part even better that wouldn’t require a hefty paycheck so you could save money on Prosthetics makeup and salary

NOTHING beats the old one, but I confess that I’m looking forward to this release.
Why can’t Hollywood come up with new stuff? Who wants a Matilda remake? The original is unbeatable, why try to outdue it? I find it massively disrespectful, if anything make a sequel.. This looks cringe in comparison, and seemingly lacks the substance, magic, comedy, heart the original had… Trunchbull herself looks like she’s in tons of makeup, doesn’t look like good prosthetics… the original Trunchbull was much scarier, and imposing looking, and way better performance.. from what I can tell already.
Stop remaking classics, they know fans of the originals will have to watch it, hence why they make these crappy remakes. Don’t support it, 9/10 times these remakes suck imo… it’s rare there’s a good one worth making. Hollywood needs originality.. and by supporting stuff like this is why we keep getting remakes of beloved classics that are not even half as good, if they came out at the same time, very little would care about the crappy remake, think about that.. I’ll stick to the original. Thanks though.
