I like the recap episodes too (unlike some commenters)!
How historically accurate is this History Channel story? How does it assume it knows what the motivation of our early founders was? Was self-interest and ego the only motivation driving our founding fathers? Was ambition the sole motivator for Washington? Is the History Channel really the “most trustworthy source” of information? I don’t think so. Many of my ancestors fought with Washington in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The History Channel is more about informational entertainment and less about historical accuracy. It’s more about the story the authors wish to tell than the actual story.
Anyone who condemn another and states they are a Christian is going against God, but he loves us all Christian or not and that love will save all. The Lord even stated he has no time or wants anything to do with government that problem belongs to the people if we want freedom or want to live as slaves, that’s why our fathers didn’t want religion in government. We are on our way to becoming slaves here in the U.S. because of Christians and the Republican’s we need to be careful or we will become slaves. My opinion
Disappointing last 2 episodes. There’s so much information and stories to tell why waste 2 entire episodes on recap. They even used same clips. I thought I was watching same episodes but it said E12 and E13

He was a true leader. Funny how he kind of got out into this position by happenstance, yet he turned out to be one of the greatest soldiers and presidents in history.
Every time I watch or read anything about Napoleon I THANK GOD for George Washington… he is not just the FATHER of OUR country… he is the FATHER of the DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC! He didn’t write the Constitution but he created the groundwork for it to take root and flourish!
