This is the ONLY show I ever watch all year long. I love the history…I love everything about it.
They found a nail
Not sure why this freshwater well is making such a big sensation — other than its Lot 26 connection with Capt James Anderson and Samuel Ball — because an earlier season episode has Gary going into a near-same freshwater well in the northern Lot 14 (?) area, that started quickly infilling on him. Nobody did a soil grab on the bottom of that well (and should do so) ! It might have datable material that also fits into this (1028–1172 CE) period — making it another 1 of the many other unsaid wells that they “KNOW” and have documented across the island (just haven’t mentioned them in the TV episodes). Having all those wells dug out and soil/debris tested would have further proof of massive construction, freshwater use, and population density in these earlier times — that can’t be denied … let alone digging out the massive Eye of the Swamp artesian spring freshwater well and (truly !) what lies hidden at its depths and debris ! Time to get back to these wells and start properly dating them, and placing them in context. The Eye of the Swamp (by current estimates) in its (possible) second generation of construction by the Baronets of Nova Scotia (1600s) would have its first generation of construction as far back as the 1220s of the harbor — or back to these same wells of (1028–1179 CE). It well time to get all these wells across the island cleaned up, probed out, dried out, and debris dated. The more all of these wells are proven to be pre-1783 British Loyalists, and pre-1762 Oak Island lot survey map, pushes back before the (final) 1755 agreement of British occupation and ownership of Nova Scotia, back to the 1600s Scots and Brits, back to 1598 Scottish Prince Henry Sinclair, and then back into the hidden histories of the earliest (1500–1600 CE) British/Scottish occupation and colonization of the island, any potential Portuguese explorations (1498–1550s) being superseded by the Knights Templar (1096–1500), Welsh Prince Madog expedition (1180s), and the Norse (1000–1400), and who else was part of the (400s-1000 CE) of these Roman OOPARTS, Norse(-Irish Saint Brendan 500s sailing to America, and the dated 600s ship’s railing in the harbor area.
Oak Island, itself, has more historical artifacts and hidden importance to American history, than anywhere of the greater Mahone Bay, Halifax, and other locations of Nova Scotia. Oak Island is a critical point of American and transoceanic sailing from the time of Jesus down to 1762.
Sam got the money and never looked back. Now today, these people are milking the TV world. I can’t say that I blame them, but trust me..NOTHING is left on that island that is “of significance value”
There are new conjectures that Oak Island was set up as an alchemical processing facility. Clay contains alchemical material — when properly extracted, provide (said) ORMUS or hi-spin white gold, platinum … such product is the mythic Food and Drink of the Gods, … the descendant Lord’s Supper of Manna and the Ouinos (wine). Thus, alchemical writings of the Americas being the New Atlantis (Sir Francis Bacon and the Rosicrucians), the quick connection of the Templars with the Americas, and the Freemasons holding all the government positions of the newest form of colonial government from biblical precepts and the natural rights of man … that Oak Island, with the boulder having the engraved ACACIA tree (not the said 13-branched PINE tree of the colonial writings) was a direct masonic and templar symbol of resurrection.
Even the name of America was not the (said) wrongful historian appellation given to America by the mapmaker Amerigo Vespucci — but is the actual location of the Indian Hindu/Buddhist lands to the East, where the gods live, in the Land of “Meru.” the Land of America. The Land of the Gods, with the sacred meal, providing resurrection over death, immortality, and the deliverance, redemption, and salvation to those initiates within the sacred community of elects.
Best show on TV introduced me to gold prospecting and have found plenty along the way with what I learn from history being part of the reward too
Worst show in history. Get rid of it
Add the nail to the found inventory! 1 coin, 1 button, and 1 nail. Show sucks
Not another huge discovery 😂
Oak Island just keeps giving.
A nail. Wow. That’s 10 mins I will never get back
I have an idea. If the nail pre dates 184o could it go back way before that even? Could it be roman? The water had traces of silver and the well dates at least 900 years. Night’s templar carried treasures possibly to that island and it seems to be linked fer shur. I believe they may have put something very precious down that well.Something silver and maybe something on top , possibly from Jesus Christ linked to his death. Could that be a precious nail from him that nailed him to the cross??? Hmmm 🤔
Amazing video and thank you for breaking it down!! Despite the economic downturn,I’m so happy☺️. I have been earning $ 60,200 returns from my $7,000 investment every 14days. 👍🇬🇧
GD I HATE THESE COMMERCIALS! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING THAT I AM FORCED TO WATCH AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR! YOU ARE WAISTING YOUR MONEY AND MY TIME BY MAKING ME WATCH A COMMECIAL FOR A MERMAID VIDEO GAME! ANYTHING I AM FOCERD TO WATCH INSTANTLY GOES ON THE BLACKLIST, AND WILL NEVER EVER BE PURCHASED„,.…..EVERRRR!!!!!!!
Huge just huge ! More 🐎 💩. Add to the list of insignificant trinkets .
I miss having the History Channel simply because I can no longer watch this show
I think they should uncover the whole road to see where it goes, to see if it splits in multiple directions because wherever it goes that was the pathway to move from one place to another heavy cargo and wheeled carts that otherwise would be impossible to move without the stone road. Why would they need a stone road if they were only living and walking around the island on foot or on horse?? The only reason for a stone road is to move stuff that’s the only thing that would make it worth doing it. Wherever the road ends that’s where they should make a search radius and use those machines that make a 3D image of what’s below and also start looking for some kind of entrance in the surroundings maybe covered with hundreds of years of vegetation or collapsed and it’s now a rubble of rocks looking like nothing hiding in plain site. Whatever the case is that road should show us all for what purpose it was made and what was going on since that’s the oldest most sophisticated thing ever built on the island other than MAYBE underground tunnels and chambers. They really should upload 2 episodes a week instead of 1 so people don’t have to wait that long to watch what happens
Algorithm. The proof is definitely not here
The treasure may not exist, but wouldn’t the archeological significance be enough?
What song is used for the outro?
These guys are tinkering around , how many years are they going to act turtles, I lost interest I’m not this desperate for entertainment
HISTORY The Curse OF Oak Island appreciate your videos Listening 900 year old Well

No wood?
The show really requires true historians to be involved. And not young family members and seemingly young and inexperienced professionals.
Even pawn stars brings in real and very knowledgeable professionals.
Some dude in the 1600’s — what do I do with this nail? Idk chucks it in the well for no good reason
Boy oh boy, I hope those ladies are getting paid well to be attached to this garbage show… if not then my condolences 🥲
This show is all BS
Finding one nail per episode this will last years looking for gold 😂😂
I’ll save ya some time … go look in Switzerland
😂🤣😂🤣😂😄
High traces of silver in a well could also be do to an old school purification method
WELL, that was a good one.
I enjoy all the negative comments when they don’t find anything. Don’t you realize that if the treasure was that easy to find it would have been found by previous searchers. Then this show would never have happened. I enjoy watching them get closer to trying to solve the mystery. I just want to see some gold found just once.
I love how they’ve been finding old garbage for 10 season. Every piece of junk is a HUGE discovery.
This show has moved at a snails pace for 10 freaking years. Either they find real treasure this season or we’re out. We’ve had way too much not treasure. It’s freaking time already!
Pretty sure “the people” lived there. Gonna call the local ” members” ?
It’s a ‘Milk’ nail. Totally milking it. A whole show about an old nail found in an old well. 🤣🤣
Looks like a OLD toilet 🤣 to me
Wooow found a nail ??????????
What method was used to date the well to 900 years old? The rocks can’t be dated. A layer of material over the well might be material brought up from the excavations and washed over the well. So the well may be younger than material dumped or deposited by water on it.
The most redundant show on history.
I sure hope they find another piece of wood.
I think if they would have dug a 200 foot wide 400 feet acrosse..they would have it all..they could have found it in the first five seasons
