It’s amaz­ing how peo­ple, includ­ing MKBHD, believed that the no-but­ton iPhone was com­ing “this year”. That was so obvi­ous­ly not going to hap­pen. It’s a bad idea because it’s so eff­ing obvi­ous­ly a bad idea. It’s a bad idea in terms of ergonom­ics and design, but it’s also a bad idea in terms of dura­bil­i­ty and repairs. And that’s not how Apple oper­ates. It’s micro iter­a­tion year after year.
