Poco is a sub-brand of the Chi­nese smart­phone man­u­fac­tur­er, Xiao­mi. It was launched in August 2018 with the aim of cre­at­ing high-per­for­mance smart­phones at afford­able prices. Poco ini­tial­ly launched its first smart­phone, the Poco F1, which became a huge suc­cess due to its flag­ship-lev­el spec­i­fi­ca­tions at a mid-range price point.

Since then, Poco has launched sev­er­al smart­phones in dif­fer­ent price ranges, includ­ing the Poco X2, Poco X3, Poco M3, Poco F3, and Poco X3 Pro. Most of these smart­phones are aimed at the bud­get and mid-range seg­ments, but they also offer high-end spec­i­fi­ca­tions such as pow­er­ful proces­sors, high-qual­i­ty cam­eras, and large batteries.

Poco’s smart­phones usu­al­ly run on the MIUI oper­at­ing sys­tem, which is based on Android. The com­pa­ny also offers reg­u­lar soft­ware updates and secu­ri­ty patch­es to ensure that its devices are up-to-date with the lat­est fea­tures and bug fixes.

Poco has gained a sig­nif­i­cant fol­low­ing in India, where it has estab­lished a strong pres­ence in the bud­get and mid-range smart­phone seg­ments. In addi­tion, the com­pa­ny has expand­ed its reach to oth­er coun­tries such as Spain, Indone­sia, and the Philippines.

Over­all, Poco has been suc­cess­ful in pro­vid­ing high-qual­i­ty smart­phones at afford­able prices, which has helped it gain a loy­al fol­low­ing among bud­get-con­scious con­sumers who do not want to com­pro­mise on per­for­mance or features.

I think that i pre­fer F5’s design over the Pro one. And it’s also cheap­er, so it’s a win-win i guess. Lol

While dura­bil­i­ty is trash, specs sheet is irrelevant.

I can get the red­mi note 12 tur­bo which is the poco f5 for only €330, that would be way cheap­er than wait­ing for the poco f5 which i know will prob­a­bly be more expen­sive. Would you rec­om­mend me to buy the redmi?

Not gonna lie, the reg­u­lar F5 looks very tempt­ing with great specs, hope­ful­ly decent price and a head­phone jack which I def­i­nite­ly did­n’t expect here but I’m pleas­ant­ly surprised.

The reg­u­lar F5 has a bet­ter design, also 7+ Gen 2 has almost sim­i­lar per­for­mance to 8+ Gen 1.
7+ Gen2 actu­al­ly stronger than the reg­u­lar 8 Gen1, with­out the throt­tling and over­heat­ing issues.

So the reg­u­lar F5 may be a bet­ter deal.

Real­ly tempt­ing to see com­ing from f3 if what it’s the best val­ue for upgrade, f5 or f5 pro (12gb ram vari­ant)? 🤔 Honkai Star Rail is my cur­rent game.

F5 Pro seems like a waste of time con­sid­er­ing sim­i­lar­i­ties in per­for­mance to F5. Only dif­fer­ences being 160mAh bat­tery, 1440p res­o­lu­tion, and slight­ly faster CPU. Not sure what Xiao­mi was think­ing with that one…Gonna wait for Realme 11 pro plus release and then make a choice on a phone.

i real­ly like the f5 pro design, but once men­tion theres no audio jack turn me off.. please i real­ly hate to share my head­set with charg­ing port. blue­tooth? very delay..
