Telly is offering a free TV… with a separate screen for ads. #shorts

Do these com­pa­nies not real­ize that the open source com­mu­ni­ty will brick ANYTHING they dont like? This would be a per­fect addi­tion to a “Wack&Hack” arsenal…

I just received this TV yes­ter­day and yes its a smartTV run­ning android but theres no steam­ing apps like net­flix or app store (Prob­a­bly why they added the stream­ing stick). The only apps they have installed is Zoom, Spo­ti­fy and some games & also the cam­era is hid­den too. When the cam­era is used it pops open.

Just cov­er the bot­tom part?

A. No Stream­ing Ser­vices inte­grat­ed.
B. Cam­era to look into your soul and watch you while you’re naked.
C. A micro­phone to lis­ten to all your deep­est dark­est secrets
D. A motion track­er to track every­thing you do
E. ADS THAT TRACK EVERYTHING ON YOUR NETWORK (includ­ing your brows­ing history)

DO NOT GET THIS.

Ok of course we can cov­er the screen with the ads but its scary to think that this is where tvs are going
We’ll be forced to watch ads on our tvs even­tu­al­ly

So.…we get a 4k pan­el with­out crap­py built in soft­ware that will become out­dat­ed? That’s the best deal I’ve seen yet.
