CNET,Technology,tech
Apple is expected to announce its next major version of iPhone software, iOS 17, at its WWDC keynote on June 5. While rumors point to the software update being overshadowed by new Mac hardware and a long-rumored AR/VR headset, that doesn’t mean the next version of iOS won’t have significant features. More widget functionality would be nice also I would love if apple changed the look of the Home Screen to me it’s just old and needs a new look
I want them to remove flashlight and camera from lockscreen. They turn on all the time and drain my battery in pocket.

If the volume buttons on your iPhone don’t work on the tv for Apple TV controls, it means your audio device doesn’t support changing volume over HDMI control (or it’s not setup). Unfortunately, while the physical remote has an IR sensor and can send volume controls that way, the iPhone doesn’t, so if the TV doesn’t support it over CEC (the HDMI control format) then there’s no other way for the iPhone to do it…
We do realize enabling Apple Pencil Support isn’t a software thing… right? Like, unless Apple has been building the technology for reading the Apple Pencil’s digital signature into iPhones without people knowing for the past few years, they’d need to change the hardware for that.
