Jesus brought the Pil­grims to Amer­i­ca as the new promise land. Israel was long gone in 1620. Gen­e­sis 12. Matthew 21:43–44 and Jere­mi­ah 31:31. The Pil­grims brought mul­ti­ple mer­chant ships car­ry­ing sup­plies and paid them with Euro­pean mon­ey. The mer­chants were expe­ri­enced explor­ers and map mak­ers who assist­ed the Pil­grims to nav­i­gate through the forests and estab­lish ports for more ships. The Pil­grims enjoyed a nice first Thanks­giv­ing with the Indi­ans prov­ing they were friends. The Indi­an wars did­n’t start until the British arrived, con­vinc­ing the Indi­ans to kill the set­tlers under false pretenses.

Amer­i­can his­to­ry is seri­ous­ly defi­cient if it doesn’t account for any his­to­ry out­side of its mea­ger 4–5 per­cent pop­u­la­tion and include the his­to­ries of oth­er regions of the world. And sure Amer­i­ca has a var­ied and long his­to­ry, but with­out a prop­er per­spec­tive of a much, much wider world , well let’s just say I see why the Amer­i­can con­sti­tu­tion and the found­ing fathers pret­ty great events that changed the world, but their is a very ill informed myth in the Amer­i­can pub­lic about its myth and it is the great­est achieve­ment of man, and meant to stay in that fixed posi­tion for all of time.
