Zenfone 10 has fixed (almost) every nitpick I had with the 9.

The zenfone is nice, but the upcoming oneplus nord 3 is such insane value that I don’t even know how anything could compete with it. It’s basically the same thing as zenfone but with 80w charging and it will cost 350€ less!
I was so close to buying the zenfone 9. But the 2 year support is what killed it for me. Again the zen 10 looks like everything I want in a phone but still only a couple years support. Will have to pass again.
I just broke my OnePlus 8T’s screen, so I just tried a OP 11 and hated it — I’ve been eyeing this one since it got announced and seriously can’t wait for it to release in the U.S.
In the meantime, I’m going with a Pixel 7 and may end up trading it in for a Zenfone 10.
people u don’t need all these cutting edge tech, your 5 year old smartphone is more than enough don’t work until u are 900 years old, enjoy your life use your time not your money..
Damn, looks sweet! But: Pixel 7 or that zenphone 10?
Finally announced! I’m switching from my Galaxy s22 ultra to this.
The only reason I didn’t buy a Zenphone 9 was wireless charging and software support. Its good to see wireless charging on the Zenphone 10. But 2 years of support is a deal breaker.
The other issue is that, sadly, both Samsung and Apple have good trade in values and repair networks. The high trade in value subsidizes future purchases with either manufacturer. The lack of a dedicated or partner third-party repair center also hurts if you damage the display, etc. If your only option is to send it to Asus, as opposed to a local repair, that will turn a lot of people off. I “can” deal with these issues; software support I cannot.
Want a comparison video of Asus Zenfone 10 vs pixel 5 new phone vs older in 2023
New one plus
For 799€ this phone is dead on arrival, waste of materials, import fees? 2 years software updates? Lol
A very appealing device. If I ever changed from IOS to Android this is a phone I would definitely consider.
for that size i think its heavy. 6.07 oz which is heavier than S23 — 5.93 oz. if you want to create a one hand phone you should consider weight as well. 5.30 oz would be perfect.
He loved it, bcz of colour of mkbhd:
RED & BLACK
Just bought the Zenfone 9 brand new at 579€ on Amazon. Typing on it rn and i love It. The smaller format is so good and its flashy af + rom support
What are SAR values for this device?
Hi Marques, what book is at 3:02 ?
The thing I hate the most about this phone is the unaesthethic chin. It makes it look ugly, if it fixed that, design wise, it would be perfect.
Can we stop saying that $699/€799 is a great price for a mid range phone? It wasn’t that long ago that people that Apple would fail by launching a $999 phone.
I just switched to iOS just now though
i my self always looks for compact phone, this one is so perfect I’m definitely buying one soon
@0:18 to be fair it was probably the only small phone that came out that year that stood a chance since no one is really making small phones anymore and it will probably win that award again this year
Zenfone 7 is going into year 3 of their 2 years of promised updates, while the 8 is “done” and the 9 has 1 year from now. So take the update with a grain of salt (also, do any of you still run the Zenfone 7? If not, then updates won’t matter much to you).
Also why do people forget that the front camera is fixed focus now, so you get better low light, but less fine details even with those extra pixels. Also the rear ultrawide does not focus anymore as well, so no macro. So the 9 and 10 both have 3 cameras, but the 9 acted like it had 4.
This is finally the one. I’ve been holding off replacing my Galaxy S8 for year after year, but this one finally does what I want. Headphone jack, wireless charging, stock Android, good cameras, flat screen. They’ve got at least one customer this year.
If they release this in India, it’d be my go to phone. But I’m getting Pixel 8, because they ain’t realising this here.
I love this phone but just cannot get past the small form factor. Not a big fan of small phones. They need to make it as standard, or even better, plus size. Would buy it right away!
That phone is everything I want my Xperia 5 III to be. Tho the Sony Cameras on this phone are still soo nice. And the hi res headphone jack 😩, will keep on the Xperia
only 2 years of software is a dealbreaker
Man, bump that software update to 4–5 years and make it compatible with Verizon and it’d be a dominate force.
I was 90% certain that this was going to be my next phone, until I found out it doesn’t have SD card expandable storage.… I don’t know now that 90 plunked all the way down to 40
MARK ASS BROWNLEE
This phone lacks seamless bezels, greater camera, removable battery, long-term software updates support. We want iPhone mini like premium design but without the notch. 😅
Ooooh, this looks like a very good upgrade option in the near future now that Samsung only seems to cripple it’s user base further.
Sadly no desktop mode, when spending more than $500 a phone should have a desktop mode.
Use that as your daily phone for the year if that’s “the phone you would make” lol
Damn, this almost makes me want to switch from an iPhone…. But I’m trapped in the ecosystem
2 years software support is bad now days. Phones are so good that you don’t need to upgrade every year or two anymore. This alone would be a break point for me. In fact, I would like to see some laws making manufactures support software updates for at minimum 5 or 6 years. Common EU, I know you can do this.
Fuck yeah baby I’m buying it
Sorry for asking a stupid question, but am when he mentioned software support, does that mean that for this one, it will only last for 2 years? Or what does that mean? It’s kinda pointless to have a phone and not last you more than 3 years.
it’s cool but it has wayyyy too big screen for me. 🙂
$699 in USA, $876 in Europe…maaan.…
So not the green…
Small phones dont sell… maybe stop crippling them then & they will sell… pixel 5, galaxy s10e, pixel 4a… all crippled
It is called patina. Guitar weirdos will call it reliced.
It remeind me the pixel 4 that what I expected from Google but the big bezel kill it
I wish someone made a midrange phone that size!
0:38 What headphones have that super sweet connector? It looks so cool
Big Nexus 5 vibes.
I’d get it, but per usual… Not compatible with Verizon.
Wtf, phones are 700 dollars?
No wonder i see people with iphones in the same apartment complex i’m at.
My phone was like 90, how the fuck are people soo easily convinced to spend 700 on communication devices? I feel soo retarded.
Reminds me of recently, when someone told me that doritos cost 4–5 dollars now.
Insane.
