Additionally, the docuseries unveils competitive rivalries between iconic brands that changed the fabric of our nation forever. Blending dramatic reenactments and archival footage with interviews from experts, biographers, and others, “The Toys That Built America” brings to life the surprising tales of the men and women who created some of America’s most beloved and enduring toys, including Silly Putty®, Monopoly®, Barbie®, G.I. At the end of the barbie movie they all die in a nuclear explosion.
Now that Barbie is woke less and less people will buy them. Nobody wants wokeness anymore and the majority of people are tired of leftists pushing it on society.
Mattel did me dirty man😔
If we put flavored tobacco in Barbie which is vape able through her skull.…we can have all the $ in the WORLD!!!!
Que pena não ter dublagem em português do Brasil.
Has anyone seen the new coolest movie ever? It’s called M3GAN, and in that movie, the douchebag president (Ronny Chieng) of the fictional toy company which plans to market and distribute M3GAN literally says “This is the year we kick Hasbro in the D*CK!” 😂😂🤣😂 … And that’s maybe the 4th coolest line of dialogue in the movie.
I’m in South America and everyone is going crazy over Barbie right now.
Conveniently timed to coincide with the new garbage propaganda movie.
Built America??? No. Try again. So then when America’s destroyed are you going to say how they destroyed them by going woke😂
“ALL AMERICAN” Toys now made in China or Taiwan 🤮
My favorite Mattel product is the Disney Cars Diecast line that I have been collecting since I was four years old and basically when the Cars movie came out!
JESUS IS COMING!
Romans 10:9–10
Yeah, Barbie was big here in America but as far as the most popular toy ever sold… You’re dead wrong about that. Anybody remember a toy called the Tamagotchi? The little pocket monsters like digimon where you could connect two together and battle? THOSE were by far the most popular toy in the world. Period.
Making idols for children
Green army man waiting to see his episode to be released in ‘the toys that are built in America’ ( fun fact Green army man was introduce in the USA in 1938 or late 1937)
Hi Barbie
Montgomery ward actually bought Barbie, Sears didn’t that’s true. No store could keep them in stock
The way ppl spend on Barbie is how I used to spend on Disney merch. When I was a child I liked playing with Barbie’s so I get it. Even for the adult collectors out there. Childhood memories. I’m just not into Barbie merch. Did see the movie it was good
Great documentary… great history anecdotes from the Barbie and the GI Joe brands.😃💡👍
It’s amazing to see how their competing led to both companies learning and growing. Barbie is more than a doll, she’s a unstoppable movement, and not just for girls anymore. 🩷
GI Joe is an American hero but I only own one. I have hundreds of Barbie dolls, all still in their boxes! 🩷🩵
No way toys still make that . Unless it’s Lego 😂😂
If Mattel ever wanted to make furniture again? It should be a collaboration with any furniture company of their choosing
Think of the life-size Barbie/Hot Wheels/Thomas the tank engine furniture they could make, Mattel IS getting a theme park next year and I want to go real bad.
I never understood why the #3 Barbie was used for the 1959 original commercial. It should have been the #1.
I got a GIJoe for Christmas, but what I really wanted was Barbie. So I played with my sister’s dolls. LOL
Mister Potato head with adjusting for inflation would cost 11.52 I can see why parents wouldn’t want to spend approximately 12 dollars just for some plastic bits that you stick into produce
so barbie became famous by passion and genuine intrest where GI JOE was schemed into popularity
Lol, I’m in my 30s and I love barbie! It’s not only for little girls.
Lol the acting sequences always take me out.
What about MGA and Mattel?
I have both GI Joes and Barbies in my toy collection — THE iconic toys of the past 60 years.
I remember this toy in the movie Toy Story 2. But this famous toy reminds me of the movie Life Size.
My mom had Tammy and Pepper from the Ideal Toy Co. Her neighbor had Barbie and Skipper.
Barbie fan Hot Wheels Legos Collectibles. Mattek Collectors Skullectors Sugnature Barbie Love Dolls❤❤❤❤❤💎💎💎💎💃💃💃💃🤗🤗💋
The actress who’s playing Ruth is honestly mothering
I 🩷 Barbie!
I’m more into Lego blocks… I have a Lego set model of NASA’s Saturn 5 rocket and then another Lego set model of NASA’s Apollo 11 moon lander.
