Chan­di Sona is a 1977 thriller dra­ma film star­ring San­jay Khan, Parveen Babi, Pran and Prem­nath. Mayur and Rita are stage actors and lovers. They arrive on an island that has a tomb of Sha­hen­shah Chan­di Sona. Under the tomb is a lot of wealth. The film is about Mayur and Rita’s dra­mat­ic attempt to steal this wealth by tak­ing help from escaped jail­birds and deep-sea divers. They do so by con­struct­ing an under­ground tun­nel through the swim­ming pool in the house that they’ve bought from Mayadevi.
