Why is the music louder than the narrator
That king went mad 😲
Now, show what Russian state television shows about American history.
Russia is beautiful
Czars went down into the dustbin. Communists went down into the dustbin. Putin is due for the dustbin. Democracy anyone?
Do people believe history channel docs still? After all the dumb disingenuous shows?
I heard that “onion domes” were designed to efficiently shed snow-accumulation.. They couldn’t have used “Byzantine-style” domes, because they would’ve collapse under the weight of snow, but the “dome” is kinda important in Odox Church, so they had to come up with a solution, 🧄+❄️=😅👍? I’m not Russian, but that’s what I heard.
Europe acts like they have been around for so much longer then the US but Russia is one of the youngest countries on Earth… The USSR wasn’t even offically formed until the 1900s… and didn’t fall and rebuild till after the 50s so they’re a pathetically young country with no history 🙂 thanks for reading
“His name was ‘Ivan the Terrible, Peter/Katherine the Great’ ”…
Lol, that’s like saying, “his name was ‘King Tut’, or ‘Jesus Christ’…
NO IT WASN’T: 😂
Very good doc…
If you’re a fifth grader in 2003.…
💥💥 I love history it’s the best
The Russian Empire has fallen in name only. Russia remains 1 of the largest nations in the world. Most of the conquer territories remain under russian control.
Italian engineering genius.
Wait a minute???? Is this an actual history show on the History Channel????? 😮 I am officially flabbergasted.
Cancel the View !❤
I thought vacines where invented in 1796
The History Channel doesn’t no Russia history. they barely know American history.😂😂😂😂😂 Hakuna Matata no❤ for anyone on planet Earth just the Wonder Woman on Venus. Which I Come From Mars.
I know how they engineered the monuments… aliens.
This series has a lot of mistakes for one thing Russian expansion occurred even after the death of Catherine the great and the picture is not of Alexander the first that’s actually Nicolas hi the great police man of Europe, and one of the greatest Russian conquerors
Also, napoleons defeat did not eliminate any threat to Russia and becoming a Geo political empire. The British were their main rivals and then that struggle, unfortunately the British of winning if the Russian said one, we would all be speaking Russian today.
Peter Weller wearing the black beret was the chefs kiss to this masterpiece.
Surrealist painter, Marc Chagall, was of the Russian Empire.
Why can’t I find the one about the Byzantine empire?
Thank you for an interesting video! I especially enjoyed the parts discussing the architecture and engineering.
God be with you out there everybody. ✝️ 🙂
Robo cop is the host, I’m in
Is it just me or do people make a bigger deal out of Catherine’s love life than it really was? She doesn’t sound any better or worse than her male counterparts. In fact I’d argue that some of them made her look like she wasn’t even trying
tartars , i think who invaded were the mongols
russian leaders: you can benevolent, or you can be successful, but you cant be both.
Fan fact. IRAN what is modern day Russia was originally inhabited by Iranian tribes.
Thanks for the documentary. It’s the rise and fall of an empire. Idk what Putin is trying to do build his own Empire? Same with Xi. The rise and fall of their Empires. Don’t they learn a lesson from this? And here comes Kim Jung wants to extend his Empire and shoot his missiles into space. I’d rather be an ordinary peasant. You work hard and live peacefully and die with no enemies.
Great video very interesting
Thanks soooo much!!
So am I to understand that Peter Weller is a professor at Syracuse University?
Special effects looks like Ps2 graphics
I’ve heard legends that History Channel actually had history in ancient times, now it turns out to be true!! 😅😅😅😅
