Sony Xperia 1 V camera apps are unlike any other smartphone’s
[vid_tags]
Sony is not afraid to do things differently with its Xperia lineup, and the Xperia 1 V is the most recent example. With as many as three camera apps onboard, it can take some time to get to know when to use each one and how to best put it to use. Check out our video review to learn ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW about the Xperia 1 V’s most and least used camera feature.

Rack focus definitely needs to be added to the video pro app, I can’t count the times when I needed it and it could’ve been extremely useful for me. Cinema pro is such a different system with such a hugely different output that it doesn’t work as a substitute.
And we finally need to get a couple of other features and bugs fixed:
- Clipping zebras.
- The ability to enable features that need another feature turned off first (maybe allow us to do this after displaying a message that says “warning: this function will turn off” instead of having them greyed out).
- Sony needs to finally fix the infinity manual focus bug where if you switch lenses while you have manually set your focus to infinity, it’ll default like 1/5th of the bar lower.
- PLEASE fix the RAW file softness as well as the EXTREMELY problematic color rings that appear in low light RAW scenarios on all lenses, I know for a fact that’s an issue coming from their vignetting removal solution that for some reason applies to the RAWs too.
- An RGB histogram.
- The upgrade on the telephoto and ultrawide sensors we desperately need.
There’s a lot more, but all of these are great upgrades for the next generation.
Hi does this record video at 60FPS when using Optical zoom? Thanks
I used to brag about 0:32 iPhone cameras and Samsung cameras. After so many years and looking at the new iPhones and Samsungs, it’s really overrated cameras. I don’t even like how auto mode is. Especially since I started a business, I can easily tell the difference in quality when I upload it on the internet.
Which ND filters could we get that actually work with the phone?
Bloody expensive
can you take normal photos and videos with this phone with automatic settings?
Can you shoot in Raw?
SONY ❤️🇯🇵👑
Very tempting
That’s why Sony Xperia is better than Apple and Samsung
This is the best phone in a camera!
The Leatherman of Smartphone(s).

Sony + ZEISS 🔥
How much mobile price in UAE
Sony makes my favorite cameras, and definitely feel like I can take the best smartphone pictures with the Xperia phones, having said that I know how to handle a mirrorless camera, I wouldn’t recommend this kind of phone to regular users that just want to point and click and get decent pictures… What I’m trying to say is, I’m glad that companies like Sony create options for a very specific demographic, buying and Xperia phone is more like buying a small mirrorless camera with a smartphone integrated to it and not the other way around, is like buying a camera accessory.
the problem of sony are prices
THERE ARE A TON OF 3RD PARTY ND FILTERS FOR THE XPERIA…They work WELL
Best phone ever, love Sony!!!
